Because you're trying to install it onto -windows vista and newer - .
I could never get my old max 8 installer to work on vista64 and newer, and when I did. It would always freeze mid-use after a random amount of time passed(screwing over all max8 my projects xD )

Long story short,
If you still want to install it, run it under compatibility mode for XP, and ....saaaaaaave often I guess?

I got it to work when I went back to install it for Aquarii. If I remember correctly, I googled it and eventually found out that you needed a certain DLL. I can't remember the fix exactly, but its possible.

Blitzkreig exports faster than Bluestreak.

The Blitzkrieg exporter is extremely faster and overall more efficent. The other script exporters such as bluestreak, while nice, can literally create errors where there are none and also takes a considerable more amount of time to export a single jms file.

I always got same errors when using both exporters. I don't know why people always say that.

Bliz > export editable poly > no errors
bluestreak > export editable poly > 4 million errors

Is there a way how to make it work?

Not a HD captcha, so the resolution is too small enough for me to identify the font pixels.

@EtchyaSketch: Thankyou.

A couple things you could try,

1. halt any additional background autodesk process's.

2. Boot your pc in safe mode, and try to install it.

3. In rare cases, there maybe a confusion in your system registery. Which is prompting the install to fail.

4. Try, removing any other autodesk software, manually. By searching for any 3ds or autodesk related files and folders. If you are confident enough delete them and then try to re-install.

5. Have you considered upgrading to a higher version of max on a free student account?
