Yeah, I think there are still problems with rigs and weight stuff because my grunt's head keeps growing and shrinking as I turn his head side to side.

that's actually a fault of max. Objects like those dont necessarially use bones, they use nodes. Because Adjutant imports them as bones, the weighting gets wonky. You can easily just unparent the bones and create nodes in their place to solve that issue.

A thought occured to me and i think that there's quite a few people who might share this sentiment, but would it be possible to add support for Collision Geometry? That would seriously make porting a trillion times easier

I'm trying to extract sounds from Halo but all I am getting is for example.

Error extracting sound\characters\bodyfalls\vinyl_non_havok.snd!:
--The system cannot find the file specified


Someone help? I did put the towave in the same folder as adjutant.exe

Note: I am new with using adjutant, and I looked at the help that came with the program. All I am getting when I extract the sounds is what is shown in the code box above.

ToWav should be placed within a folder named "Helpers"

Example:
.../Adjutant/Helpers/towav.exe

Thanks a lot, but now it says
Raw data not found.

Am I misplacing my directories or what? Cause I was not aware with the "helpers" folder before.

They are not supported at this time due to them being stored in a different format. They are not really that intresting anyways...

To my understanding the newer games do collision in a way that is not compatible with how Halo 1 dose it. We have given you the tools to get rigged models, textures, and BSPs', you can do some of the work your self :)

Btw, would it be possible to get Adj to fix the boneset importing for bipeds? I know it was handled in 2013 but having it available in max 12 would be nice.

2012 is not really tested, you can always import into 2013, save as 2012, than reopen it in 2012.

Like I have said already, it has only been thoroughly tested in 2013. It can work with other versions (2010-2014) though errors may come up because of different ways the scripts are handled my Max.

Would there happen to be a separate download link for version 3.5.1.1 (or any later version, assuming there is one)? I keep trying to update Adjutant, but it keeps throwing an error at me. The error says "The remote server returned an error (460) restricted" every time I try to update it.

Yes, I did. That was the first thing I did before posting, and the only download link is for 3.5.1.0 unfortunately. The last version number that was showing for Adjutant before I accidentally deleted it was 3.5.1.1, and trying to update the program manually keeps throwing the error that I mentioned before. I was hoping there was a download for version 3.5.1.1 in the OP, but the only download link there is for version 3.5.1.0.

Looking through Reach's M45 map (Long night of Solace), Adj doesnt seem to read the Space section of the level. Either in Sky or BSP, and i'm thoroughly confused as to why it's doing so. I dont suppose you know any reason as to why this is happening, do you Elijah/Rosanna?

Entity is outdated and does not contain half the features Adj does. Having bones and vertex weighting saves a ton of time, markers reduce guess work and proper normals cut down on time spent making sure shading looks right.

Look for it in render models? I think its just a skybox model like every other level.

What is the difference between "Extract All" and "Extract All 2"?
Both pull up a Browse window that you tell where to extract the file to.
So...what's the difference?

Also, I am using Adjutant 3.5.1.1

Extract All 2 is a temp name we gave to a new feature and forgot to give it a proper name :p
What it dose is extracts everything in the map, but groups them based on if they are a bitmap, model, sound, ect.

Nope. Not confused. You just said that Extract All 2 extracts the files and folders based on "bitmap, model, sound, ect." That's actually what the normal "Extract All" does.
