Hi everyone, i posted this to show you my last work
Im trying to make the forge world from Halo REACH but is to hard because i'm starting to use 3ds max, i know, i need help for this, on the moment a want anyone to help me whit fp animations for the needle rifle...
NOTE: I was updated this map, the shaders and the bsp...

That is by far the best use of Adjutant and reach that i have seen used for a map yet,
it looks great.

The site hasn't been getting updates for tags, maps etc because dennis is a bit busy with other things right now,
but is trying to find time to sort through the uploads people have sent.

Looks really nice! On the whole upload thing, Dennis is not uploading ATM (IDK Why) But you can upload it on halomaps.org and also on the CE3 site, where it will be featured in an HMU and able to be downloaded by others right away.

*Reminder HMU is not in any way linked to Halomaps, it is not Halo maps and will never be. We just accept and transfer files at the time being while Dennis is on stand by.

oh! Really, i'm working on "the cage" map, bu tjis last will be on .yelo because i dont know how can i make maps whit more than 128 MB using OS. Sorry xP

Just played on it, It's worth the download, and is now stationed on the CE3 server as the 24/7. (24/7 unless i'm in there and i change maps around)

Pros: It felt like halo reach on the PC. most game types work on it. By most I'm meaning the weapons are not set to the globals and some gametypes will load up with classic tag set. A+ map!

Cons: DMR is a 3 shot and not a 4-5 like in Reach. One of the spawns drops you off the side of the map. Some phantom bsp but not to bad.

I enjoyed it and I think everyone else who helped film the latest HMU did too.

Even tho it has issues, it's the best reach map in halo ce so far. It plays really well but stereo firing sounds are annoying with headphones.

i just noticed when going into flycam that your third person hand placement on the dmr is in need of some work.

your setup:


how it should look (please ignore the shoddyness of the other parts of my stuff. its really old):


also it seems that in first person the gun is too close to the player.


while i want to say it should look more like this it seems i am a bit off as well:

There is one spawnpoint that spawns player in the air and he falls down and dies. Some scenery objects need larger bounding radius. There is a floating rock scenery. Shield sounds are missing, I never notice that my shields depleted.
Nothing suspicious here.

Yeah, I agree with the guy above. Everyone HATED reach when it came out, and now that Halo 4 is out they HATE Halo 4 and love Reach. Like when Halo 2 came out, some people HATED it but when Halo 3 came out they LOVED Halo 2. Then it just continues...

I should give all the Forgeworld and reach maps i have ripped and extracted to latin mapping teams since they are the ones who released most of the content on halomaps.

the latins are learnig how to use 3D max, there is a new generation of mappers who woks with 3D max the johnlex era just died 2 or 3 months ago...
