The reason 343 did this was so that all maps could reference one sound and not need multiple copies of the same sound in every map, thus saving disk space. Hi everyone, i have a problem with the importation of halo model extracted by Adjutant to 3ds max. For import the model to 3ds max, i use the "EMF3Importer" created with Adjutant. But the problem is, when the model is load in 3ds max, i have some strange things on him. Like the rigs and the bones isn't attach to the model and i can't animate him with out big deformations and i don't know how can i resolve this problem. This is an issue with the exporter :/ unfortunately there really is not a fix, unless you re-rig it your self. I think there are some models here on the site that are already rigged.

@Killer5000: shut up. It was never specified that he wanted to bring it to halo or use it for whatever purpose. With that in mind
@daedaluswar: The rigging for Halo Reach and Halo 4 Bipeds don't work. You'd have to rig them yourself to get any sort of results. HOWEVER, There was a rigged version of the Halo Reach Spartan that was released while back. Check through the 3D models section of hce.halomaps and you'll find it somewhere down the line. Hope that helps
