We have nothing similar to raycasting in scripts (although we can use the projectiles to simulate it). Boolean, sure, we can store booleans for whatever we want (if you couldnt use booleans, then if statements would be useless lol). We can check if things are inside a certain area by spamming trigger volumes, but really, using projectiles and damage to check is means each level you do wont need any additional setup, that its the same anywhere. Anyways, go read hs_doc.txt. You can generate it by open sapien (or HCE with devmode on), toss into the console: script_doc, it will then be in your HCE folder. That'll tell you what we have to deal with.

Interesting o_o I like learning ^_^. Lol. Sounds like something i did recently. Placed a biped in a map with a vehicle with a damage effect when you boosted. When you boosted, it killed the biped, and a script activated the zoom blur screen effect when the biped died. Kinda like this

There's a dmr in the cmt tagset, so they'll probably use that one. as for the railgun, probably not, ... unless they do, then they will.

I'm sure they're pretty close to showing us something... I mean, it's been a while since we've seen anything, so they have to have something together that's pretty impressive.
Edit: I really hope this post doesn't sit here just kinda dead until some pictures or visible content get released... cause that seems like that may be what will happen, since I've checked on it every few days and it just keeps disappearing further behind other threads... I was really enjoying the ideas behind this that were being discussed... (you know... the ones every couple pages in between all that other stuff? lol).
