Yeah I remember working awhile back on BSP's from halo 2, I hated trying to connect the geometry back to the BSP again. And for the ones that you don't attach back to the BSP you find they can cause a lot of strange errors. Some were the ones that messed with AI's, sometimes they couldn't see the geometry and run into it or loose there path.
I do believe I found a easy way around this in the past I just don't remember what it was.

But you can see it like scenery placed in the BSP before compiling into a structure_BSP. So I would have to merge like 500 different pieces of scenery to the main BSP and fix the errors that appear when doing so. Which is a real pain in the ass. Even Delta Halo has most of it's Instance Geometry still floating around causing Zbuffer errors, but as far as I know. The ones that actually affect gameplay are fixed. I could continue the BSP work on them.

I noticed in uprising that there are some shadows on the ground from tree leaves on uprising, check the fp arms at the point where the tree is when you pick up the sword
