Nope, it was a made by Zteam campaign, using the halo 1 campaign with beutified BSPs and overhauled scenery. Like TSC:E, only years earlier and never released or updated past a few pictures

Does anyone still have those pictures of a30? I've tried finding them, but the original host site of the images is gone.

People here always confuse conversations with fights.

Exactly. Being emotionally invested in a conversation is voluntary. Being emotionally invested in a fight is involuntary.

psssh "drama", I haven't seen a legit fight in this forum since lode went scarce

everyone knows a true forum fight includes extremely large boxes of text and quote pyramids, with at least 5 people claiming they're winning the argument.

I never claim that I'm winning an argument because in most cases, I've already won and I'm simply listing the reasons why I did.

eeeh.......fights online....when you think about it.......theyre really useless. you're essentially arguing with a screen. you cant see the person, they cant see you. you could google your info/insults, you could taunt someone and make the most grandiose claims and most bs back up for your claims. or you could troll. and none of it would really matter. at the end of it all, you still switch off your computer screen, go to bed, and live your life. you may never actually see the person or speak with them again, but it has no end, and no meaning. you could theoretically argue with someone online forever. it would be tedious and annoying, but it neither proves, nor fixes nothing. the only thing it does is give the "winner" a false sense of superiority, and the "loser", a useless reason to get pissed or feel butthurt. yet still, fights on the internet are inevitable and many a time, feelings and threats are pinned on them.

Duke Nukem wasn't that good, despite that it took 12 years to be finished and released.

The same happened with Aliens: Colonial Marines..
But Bioshock Infinite was delayed from it's original release date.. And it's one of the best games of this year at the moment..

I just need to finish alphaing this needler meter and I can send the map to Matt. From there, it will take 15 minutes to upload it to him, and 40 for him to upload to his server.

EDIT: Wrong thread. lul.

Either way, I still hope this goes well, Halo 2 is only for Vista, and is a pain to get to work on XP, plus I don't like the Live stuff that comes with it... this is just better to me, so I really hope it gets finished soon.

The largest thing on CMT's workload is most likely the sound tags. If anyone else wants to see the campaign remake come out sooner, I'm sure that making Halo 2 sound tags (and giving them to CMT) will help progress the project greatly.

Honestly though, judging by the screenshots, they've already made up for some of Halo 2's biggest flaws.

Aside from not seeing New Mombasa turn out the way it was in the Halo 2 demo/campaign beta, the Brutes didn't appear until the last few missions! In the demo version, you actually got to see them in-game, and one in a cutscene. CMT has already put them in the first missions they're doing.

And another thing, Delta Halo and Regret were my least favorite levels in Halo 2. If CMT can make their versions likable, then we're in for a treat.

Relocating Bugger conversation from CMT thread to over here,

And then kirby walks in.

Kirby Likes proving people wrong, Entry 3: Buggers (If these exact tags are used anywhere, it would be associated with H2SPP, but even then, idk)

Completely possible. Within reason? Sure, close enough. Should it be used?.. Well, with how well my bugger AI are doing so far, probably not.

Loading the walking biped into the flying biped or something different, kirbs?

If so
(script continuous bullcrap
(begin
(sleep_until (or (unit_get_health (unit (list_get (players) 0))) 0) (vehicle_test_seat banshee "driver" (unit (list_get (players) 0))))
(vehicle_load_magic air-bugger "driver" (unit (list_get (ai_actors "buggers") 0))))
(begin
(sleep_until (not (or (not (unit_get_health (unit (list_get (players) 0))) 0)) (vehicle_test_seat banshee "driver" (unit (list_get (players) 0)))))
(unit_enter_vehicle (unit (list_get (ai_actors "buggers") 0)) exit "driver")
)

If not
*curiosity*

For the video, thats basically all there was (used different commands, and moved the flying null-ped to the bugger). Since then, ive made it so he'll flee through the air, and fly over whenever you're too far way (Panic animation, and leap melee both trigger the flight via OS) As well as random cool down times so the flying times are more random (since that is needed for when he does animation based flights, plus its more reasonable that he doesn't stop flying the moment hes done pursuing your banshee. Will probably add checks to see how far he is off the ground, since we shouldnt let them fall from the sky the moment they've flied all they want to lol) AI tags still aren't really reacting the way I want them too, so he still acts like an idiot. Still need to setup the hopping onto any walls he wants too, that'll be next.

Masters said they would be fine for the H2 version, but he had also said he wasn't that interested of working with them himself. Anyways, they'll be available around release time I guess.

I'm probably gonna use OS for it, but you don't have to. Seems I have no video recordings of it, but long ago for the metroid SP stuff, I had a double jump setup. It determined when you reached the ground by constantly shooting projectiles downwards. You had a vehicle hooked to your back, when the projectiles hit the ground, the damage radius was just enough for if you where touching the ground to kill the vehicle on your back. This told the biped it was on the ground and reset the second jump. Something like this can be used to determine how far off the ground you are, so non-OS users like you can use that for ground detection. Also, you can use a sideways version for latching to walls if you want.
