The bipods I used to make the hinges. Pics for pics: Mostly BSP work and lighting left to finish. Spools are vehicles for the physics, and cast shadows too.

I made the fans and spools vehicles, however the physics I am having a little trouble with for the spools. Jesse's probably going to want vehicle safety cones as well :3

It does look pretty awesome, and it's likeness to it's H3 counterpart is uncanny
I think he should use it
also, the grenades need work, they look good, but they could be better (especially with how amazing everything else looks)
could we have a list of weapons (and their models) that you will be putting in your map?
I think that you should show us which models you will be using so that people can perhaps propose better weapon models/assets

I'll fix up the grenades.
Weapon models are being fixed up by 094, as are the biped and FP arms.
Spools, cones, and fusion coils are the only moveable scenery in H3. I'm not sure if I will add the coils, but if we get them to sync then maybe.
Shotgun Rocket Launcher Sniper Rifle Magnum Battle Rifle Brute Shot Spiker Plasma Rifle (needs serious work) Plasma Pistol Power Drainer (won't be spawned) Assault Rifle Plasma grenade Frag grenade
I'm thinking about using the brute claymore grenade (spike grenade) but I dunno.

will these all be ripped from H3 and converted for CE use?
also, skip the grunge, H3 didn't have any grunge (scratches, but not dirt/mud/etc)
Is there any way to make them smooth like their H3 counterparts?
and maybe pics of the weapons?

Not much I can do about it. What do you mean smooth? I smoothed out the shotgun properly, I'll get to the other weapon models soon. Spike grenade is nice, but needs more explosion.
Plus a bunch more projectiles on a different angle, ricochetting everywhere.

I really the binoculars, is it the same for all non-scopeable weapons?
Is there a more elegant way to make them scope out when shooting other than having the weapon inflict damage onto the user when it is fired?

You could do it script-wise using OS, but since this isn't an OS map, you're limited to either a damage_effect which doesn't effect the owner, or unzoom_all, which unzooms everyone. Edited by haloextreme117 on Dec 2, 2012 at 04:48 PM
