dont worry, just informing you as we go.
Also to Hunter. You may or may not know this, but if you tried to access the maps otherwise with any tool, you'd notice that most of the rigs are beyond broken. Unlike what some other people might have done, i fix the bone systems and correct the rigs (if you tried importing the marine or elites, the entire left side of the biped would have inverted bones, which also mess with animation).
I may not have custom skills that are amazing, but im helping in whatever way i can

***UPDATES*** So i've been working a bit more with reach stuff, and i simply forgot to put anything here...whoops. Anyways, currently i'm gonna try to get Max scenes with all the Halo 3 and Halo Reach guns, All with completely set up textures. Here's what i have so far H3 Guns Reach Guns I also got my hands on ALL the permutations for the Reach Spartan. So i've been setting up the model and textures for that as well. However, one issue remains, and the issue is rather big: The Female Spartan's Underarmor isnt rigged. So with that, i'll have to rig it out myself, which might delay the release some, but so far i've had my work with the male spartan, which works perfectly so far. Here's some pictures of what i've been able to do And one of the female bipeds i was working on

Shaders on the other hand are the culmination of multiple textures on a model, which includes (But is not limited to): Diffuse Mapping, Normal Mapping, Specular Mapping, Detail Mapping, and Reflection Mapping. So you're right about his complaining being useless, but he's right in differenciating Textures and Shaders

So on the bright side, im almost done with The halo 3 guns, and i should be able to get you guys the models/textures within the next two or three days Edit: I Lied, i got them done within two hours ******RELEASE******Halo 3 Weapons All the Halo 3 Guns except for the Human HMG Turret and The Covenant Plasma Turret. Each Weapon has every moving peice seperated for animation. I've included all the textures, and i've setup basic-ish materials. I've also adjusted the pivots for each peice to match their animation movement (Except for the Needler Needles, because that was just annoying to do on it's own. Sidenote: These are all 3P Models, so the Assault/Battle Rifle dont have Magazines (Sorry!)
