This was actually revealed in a 343 podcast way back in 2010, but did you know Chief's helmet in "The Package" was actually inspired by SPV1 Chief?!!?

Not even kidding. They said that Casio was "basing it off of a fan-made helmet seen in a Halo mod", though they didn't say which. But what other custom helmet looks so similar to that one?

I rigged the Halo 4 Mastercheif to a more or less custom rig. I took the original rig and took out any extra bones that i knew i wasnt going to use (turned 121 bones into a simple 40-50 something [Including Fingers]). I was planning on doing a custom biped animation set (from scratch, mind you) of all the halo 1 animations because the H1 animations are really meh imo. Plus, i've found out that there's quite a few animations that are unused that i can remove to make space for other animations, should i need it. Also, i took a video of me using my OS tags, which you can see Here If anybody here is good with OS shaders, please let me know. my shaders suck

Can you Possibly inject lightning's snow hog animations. from the biped in one of his maps. I have injected this animation in so many bipeds over the years it gets annoying. If I ever have to do a full tag restore they always end up reverting on me. I figure this way MC will be able to use warthogs with doors on them in the future.

You Have definitely changed the game.
I would like to make another suggestion with your biped you may want to make his visor a separate. material Id. #7 without editing the uvw's
There is a separate cube map specifically for the MC. It is in one of the maps. However it was not used in all maps in the game. So the mc biped didn't come with that material. I'm not sure why maybe It's because it's level specific I'm not sure.

There are plenty of ways to make things shiny, jackrabbit.
You could use any shiny cubemap. It doesn't have to be that one cubemap.

Consider how you behave at times.
