If it were for PC, a PC would blow up for the intense graphics of the game and multiple engines of multiplayer and co-op stuff lol

The next-gen consoles probably won't even have as good as graphics capability then my current pc.

Some idiot thinks current consoles have more power than current PCs. There's a reason why Battlefield 3 will have 64-player servers on the PC and only 16-player servers on the console.

Yeah...they were gonna shrink the maps on console or something.
Basically I'm guessing it's just gonna be another Bad Company 2 except with overpowered jets (on this scale).

Unfortunately not everybody has heaps of cash to spare to get an insane PC! I'd personally prefer they save in the graphics department and increase the player count for consoles as well, if that would even be enough...

Yeah, smaller maps.
Since I've never played any other Battlefield apart from BC2, I don't really know how jets work tactically. And I think they'd be more awkard than overpowered in BC2. All you could do with them in most maps is fly one run from the spawn point to the other side of the map, after which you invariably lose the jet to either collision with nearby hills or bailing out to avoid the kill barrier.
And yeah, I also wish they'd lower the spec requirements to something less high-end.

You know, when they said they were going to make a Halo CE HD remake, I imagined MC's "HD" armor to be something like this

But the one in the trailer actually looks worse than the original one. It would've been better if they'd just used cmt's armor from spv2 :\ or even one of those numerous Reach armor variants with a Mark V'ish helmet (since they're using Reach's assets anyway). This actually makes me wonder how well 343i actually is at original character designs. Heck, they should hire Marcus Lehto for all Halo projects!

Hell yeah man, Halo Wars Mark 4 was my favorite armor from any Halo game simply because of how sexy they made it look.

Shame Halo Wars was crap and only looked good in CGI cutscenes.

Halo Wars would have been a lot of fun on PC, don't know what made them think a console RTS was gonna fly though.

Another thing is, they could have tweaked the animations a bit to suit the current generation of games. I mean, it would look just downright ugly (on Reach's engine) when a character goes into the standing position when tossing a grenade while running. Also, MC's left arm in the "this is now" (showing that ugly MC model for that particular scene was a bad idea in the first place IMO. They should have shown the much better looking landscape\scenery instead) moment of the trailer looks overtly (for the lack of a better word) "deformed" or twisted, awkward, whatever. They could have at least fixed that before making a trailer.

I also don't see why they would design vehicles which look like some kid has gone crazy with weapon systems and disregarded human vehicle designs.

You can tell the game isn't by Bungie as MOST (not all) of the designs don't follow the Halo Universe design.

Well one vehicle I did love was the AC-220 "Vulture" which could be an awesome air support unit in Red Skulls if one were made for CE. In fact, I might just see about that...

Pikmin and Pikmin 2 were/are two great games for the Gamecube that would have worked superbly well on Wii but Nintendo...I have no idea what the hell happened to Pikmin 3 but it's been said to be in development but never shown. Kind of like Half-Life 3 you could say.

More players =/= more fun. For example, MAG, with its 250-some online capabilities, was a terrible idea to begin with, and even worse in practice. 16 players is a ridiculously high enough amount as is, its not a friggin' MMO.

The Battlefield series pulled off 64 player maps quite well, in addition to supporting AI in the case you can't find people to play.

Wait they have AI in BF? Never heard of it.
But 24 players really doesn't show off battlefield's specialty, the huge scale. It'll be like MW3 without the perks and countless weapons that are so appealing to most people.

I think he was talking about Reach weapons being used in the (crappy) engine of Halo PC.

Yes, I've seen that, they said it wasn't final, but I doubt they'll overhaul the whole thing in 5 months. Honestly, I would have been happier if they used that Mark V permu from Halo 3. It looks much better.

Everyone complaining about the MC model, it's a placeholder and 343 said they were going to change it. However there will always be those who totally ignore this post and will continue complaining about the model. Also, those who continually bash Reach opinions are opinions I personally enjoy Reach's multiplayer more than any other Halo game and think that the campaign was awesome, however it couldn't compete with the trilogy's campaigns. Reach does beat most other shooters out now. I'd prefer Reach to CoD, Battlefield, and any other shooter out there. I think 343 will do fine with Halo and won't mess too much up the only thing I've seen them do that has really bothered me has been MC's armor in Halo 4. Rage post done.

If anything, they're all for different types of gamers:

Halo- People who want slower gameplay that makes your aim, positioning, and weapon a key part to the game. This is a true test of skill, strategy, and cunning.

Battlefield- People who want an epic match of large-scale proportions, with options for all types of gun play. This is all-out warfare.

Call of Duty- People looking for a game that will give them action around every corner, with kills racking up at a ridiculously fast rate. This is arcade gaming.

All other [first person] shooters pretty much fall under a category here, with the majority being arcade gaming with maybe a bit of Battlefield. That's why I'm actually a little excited for Halo 4 and am very pleased with Reach's multiplayer getting expanded with Ha10, as there just aren't enough games out these days with slower gameplay and no iron sights.

Tbh "This is a true test of skill, strategy, and cunning." can apply to the other two. it's a matter of opinion and how you use the games mechanics to your advantage. For example on you never know what the other person is thinking, but usually the is the same response, but you can always surprise them if you thought about it and act how they would not predict.

Personally I never have to think as hard when I'm fighting in a battle against someone in Battlefield or Call of Duty. In Halo you have to actually aim, follow the guy, use the environment (because you have time to!) and decide whether to approach and melee, throw a good grenade, and hope your gun holds out.

Battlefield could be considered a little slower pace too, but I would never ever consider Call of Duty to be anything but run and gun fun with little skill needed.

Eh, that used to be fun.

Like, when i first played 1942, it was soooo fun.

Then I got BF2, and that game was fantastic for like, ever.
