Yeah basically what i did with those pictures is took no fog and added a little less fog then some fog had, like maybe 3/4 of the amount, and added a transparent blue overlay. This is how it would look in game though. But look at the rock walls surrounding the map, See the detail that the second picture doesn't have?, That's how, i think, this map Should look.

pics look great slappy, personally i like clear maps with contrast so id go with somewhere between 'nofog' and 'somefog', in 'morefog' the colours look too dull.

lol i can't believe you called me like that again, what's your problem? lol... anyway, as i said before, i dont have an xbox so i used pics and vids to make my map, it was just for fun, i didnt even know about this forum months ago... your map looks good, you are taking your time to make it, it only took 2 months (2-3 hours A WEEK) to make my map, and i rly don't care if yours looks better, im good using 3ds max but i'm not that good using some features of the game, and also, the fact that u are calling me herpaderp (again) is something i dislike, keep the good job, but plz respect other ppl's work, ok?

That wraith looks awesome, but the sky is lacking the actual "ark" details and the environment is pretty bland in that picture, most notably the cliffs.

Physics aren't the best, because it's a scenery-vehicle, but at least they roll and tip.

I tried a script to get the player to push them into the cannon-flame area by standing near them, but I don't the effect+damage effect scripted to spawn on the side of the coils are being created.

whats the plasma ball firing range like? do u have to point the reticle vertically up into the sky for the ball to go more than a few feet?

I fixed the camera so you don't have to fire it up so high, but you so have to fire it pretty high. I'm going to take a look at the fuel rod's tags and use its values instead of the normal wraith values.

Well, the wraith firing does seem a bit odd. I took a picture to show aiming height and distance:

Anyone know off the top of their head how far the mortars are supposed to go in Halo 3? Right now you can arch it over the hill, firing from the river in front of each base into the river in the front of the other base.
Are the mortars supposed to be able to bombard into the other base from in front of yours? I like how it is now, where it can't quite make it from one base right into another, because then people can't bombard your base in CTF-- that's what made death island annoying.

I'll check, lemme load up Halo 3.


The wraith CAN shoot from its spawn all the way to the other base. I shot from the spawn and the plasma ball managed to hit the base spire around the middle.

Wow. Alright, changing it then.
I also tried out having the secondary plasma gun on the wraith under driver control. It seems kinda pointless, like the stock scorpion's machine gun. And the wraith mortars can fire much closer to the wraith itself than the scorpion could. However, I'll leave it in, since you don't have to use it if you don't want to and it's not vital to combat. Just like the scorpion.

I have the credits list somewhat done, but it has no real organization to it yet.

MasterChief Biped\FP arms - Spartan 094

Assault rifle - ImBrokeRU for the animations and tagging, and Spartan 094 (zero-nine-four) for final shaders.

Battle Rifle - ImBrokeRU for the animations, Jesse for the final tagging with perfect 3 round burst and final shaders,
CMT for the firing and reload sounds, and ODX for fixing up the animations.

Sniper Rifle - ImBrokeRU for the animations, Jesse for the final tagging and shaders and contrails, Zteam for the Halo 2 reload and ready sound,
H3MT for the firing sound.

Assault Spiker - ODX for the animations, HDoan for the shaders, CMT for the fancy projectiles and sounds.

Beam Rifle - HDoan for the animations, Jesse for the tagging and shaders.

Brute Shot - HDoan for the animations, Mythril for the explosion particle effects, Zteam for some sounds, Jesse for the tagging,
and Spartan 094 for the shaders.

Carbine - ImBrokeRU for the animations, Jesse for the shaders and tagging, Gamma927 for rigging the Halo 3 model to the animations
which allowed me to further fix it up.

Magnum - ODX for the animations, Jesse for the shaders and tagging.

Needler - HDoan for the animations, Gamma927 for the rigging (model is still crap).

Fuel Rod/Plasma Cannon - HDoan for the animations, Jesse for the rigging and shaders. HDoan and Mythril for the tagging.

Plasma Pistol - HDoan for the animations, Spartan 094 for the shaders, Jesse for the tagging and smooth fixing on the gun and adding the charge
lines and electricity, and adding the 3p model with LODs.

Plasma Rifle - Gamma927 for animations, Ifafudafi for particles and fancy projectiles and tagging.

Rocket Launcher - HDoan for the animations, Spartan 094 for the shaders, ImBrokeRU for the explosion particles, H3MT for the firing sound.

Shotgun - HDoan for the animations, Jesse for the shaders, tagging and fancy lights.

SMG - ODX for the animations, Spartan 094 for the shaders. I don't know who made the firing sound, but it's really good imo.

Frag\Plasma grenade models - Gamma 927 and Mythril for the frag effects, and ImBrokeRU for the plasma effects.


VEHICLES

Warthogs - Shadowslayer for getting them in-game, and DSalimander for fixing the double sidedness and shaders.

Mongoose - Advancebo for getting the model in-game and rigged with pre-existing animations.

Turret - Elefant for his turret model (which also uses pre-existing animatins).

Banshee - Spartan 094 for getting it in-game and shaders, Jesse for the tagging and projectiles n' stuff.

Elephant - Anonymous 2009 for the model, peep210 for unwrapping and getting it working in-game.

Brute Chopper - Slap Happy for the chopper (look at his credits list for those who worked on it).

Yeah we are, my bad it's just that I was sort of writing this for sandtrap and thought we'd edit it to fit valhalla since they use mostly the same tags. I'll fix that.

My version. Basically the changes are these are not the people's models, Qwerty did the biped, I got rid of the entries for things not in the map, turret was by me and I made new frags with Broke's bitmaps.
I dunno how much of the grenade work (bitmaps, models) were by Bungie. If it was Halo 3's model, bitmaps, or particle bitmaps, then I'll remove the "Bungie," from all the entries and just say that all the models were by them.
Note: Sorry, Bourrin, I guess I'm not using your shee anymore.
