Hey guys, due to recent events, overwork, and many other factors, I have decided to cancel my map, Firefight-Descent, which had been in the making since my birthday back in August of 2010. If anyone with the means to do so wants to finish what I started, he may have the materials via PM. Sorry I could not deliver as I promised... I will now only be here as a member of the forums, I have no more means to make content or test or anything. The only thing I can stay here for, I guess, is to give support to more fortunate members than myself. I wish you all the best in your creation af great content.
Regards, -Moooseguy

I kind of suspected this would happen. Now that it's happened, I can't believe it.

If anyone DOES want to complete this, there aren't that many things left to be done to it. I have much of the major level framework down, and all that is left to do is on a little list I created a couple of days ago. I really would like to see this reach its potential, with or without me...

A few things. Also, Juan and Lodex, I laugh at both of you sometimes, but you are both equally cool in your own respects. I have no sides on this. And if 032 MB wants to finish this, I will try to get the materials and list of things left over to you in a PM within the next few days. Thank you and good luck!

If you seriously give up this project your a complete dumbass and haven't looked through all your options.
I don't know what problems you may have and what not, but whatever it may be, set the project aside and just come back to it later when you feel, or have the time to do so. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to give up on Lumoria (and sometimes, still do) becuase of things going on in my life. Hell, even Lodex QUIT the team before.
This project has serious potential to become something good with time and dedication from its original author who knows what he wants in it and how. If you need help with ANYTHING contact me. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to help to some people I don't even know and there always glad to help.
I would seriously reconsider what your doing here, but I can't stop you.

he's running halo CE on a mac, by emulating windows, so there's no way to fix it unless he wipes his hard-drive or gets a new computer. Edited by d4rfnader on Jan 3, 2011 at 04:13 PM

Edited by d4rfnader on Jan 3, 2011 at 04:13 PM I have no idea how macs work, however, why dosen't he just get a separate hard drive and install windows on it and plug it in whenever needed and just boot from that.

Edited by d4rfnader on Jan 3, 2011 at 04:13 PM Did he run anything differently or attain any recent Mac updates? Has he scanned his computer of viruses (yes even for a Mac)? If it worked just fine before, then did he add/change any of HCE's component files? What about his emulated files? Have those been changed recently?

This is really terrible news, for an awesome map to be so close to completition and then to not finish it is almost unforgivable! Please mooseman, reconsider! However, for you to give up on your project there must be some hectic things happening in your life, like highguy said, maybe take a break and come back to it. In the new map I played today 'Precipice' Siliconmaster says in the 'read me' that it took him 7 years from start to finish, obviously he took a long break in there somewhere, but DAYUM what a great map, and from what I've seen of yours, it's also a sensational creation! It doesn't matter how long it takes u, just as long as it gets finished, otherwise the time you've spent on this project thus far will have been completely wasted. Dont deprive us of your creation! Imagine if Lumoria was never released!

And he has life changing decisions to make, such as which branch of military he will go into.
