I posted a scripting tutorial on Halomaps, it should be up any time now, but I'd just like to know what would you guys like to see in a tutorial so that I can cover it?

Good because I have no clue what scripting even is. You should explain what scripting can do and what it is used for and all of the different things you can script. Make sure to go into DETAIL, I can't tell you how many tutorials I have read that are too vague.

I'll do a video next time. Just keep trying to understand what I'm talking about. Oh, and you aren't going to understand how to script until you actually try to write them yourself (this is for everyone who dl's the guide)

I know, my tutorial the scripts are too complicated to simply copy and paste.... there's no way on the planet they'll be able to get the ones included in my tutorial working without understanding the scripts... Meaning they learned it all anyways.

The tutorial explains the advanced scripting concepts I use when I write scripts. Its easier this way.

I was trying to say that in the attempts of adding the included scripts that I explain (pretty much line for line) in the tutorial they would learn about scripting at the same time so even if they ignored what I said in the tutorial, it still would take them a lot of brainpower just to work it out.

ok, so the tutorial is meant for people that already know what scripting is and know how to use most of the features? because it seems like it would be hard for a beginner to understand.

If you are a beginner and you want to learn from this tutorial you still can, just skip right to the script examples and pull out the scripting bible to look up functions you don't know/understand: http://www.modacity.net/docs/bslbible/
