In another thread the subject of other games came up and although this is only marginally on topic and so as not to derail the other threads please list what other games you play as well as Halo CE.

Halo 3 and CE are the only online multiplayer games I play. Of course, I'll be playing Reach too when it comes out. Gears of War 2 multi seems pretty fun, I know I'd suck at it and I would feel bad letting my teammates down. Even at 5v5, it's still an intimate experience, and I suck enough playing against bots as it is. With Halo 3, I tend to play Big Team Battle and FFA-oriented playlists so as not to drag the team down. At least I'm good enough that I can hop into smaller playlists and hold my own. I don't really own any other games with significant online multiplayer modes.

I usually play Custom Edition once in a while. But sometime I play the 4-8 total war games I have on desktop. All legit copy btw I bought all of them at best. I'll play sometime Killing Floor, Alien Swarm, and other I have steam which is quiet a bit of games. I haven't play xbox since the Halo:Reach beta was over.

I love the FP Animations (what I primarily look for in games, ha) in the first list.
Starcraft just has a really really nice story and characters, which are essentially the same as Halo characters (except Starcraft came out first).
And then TF2 is just amazing gameplay and is kept alive by constant updates and tremendous community support by Valve.

GTA San Andreas SA-MP (San Andreas Multiplayer)

On PC: Halo CE. Warsow, Unreal / Unreal Tournament, Battlefield, Trackmania. On consoles, I have games of all sorts. And no time to play them.

I honestly don't remember (insert old joke here) and decided not to derail the other thread as I have one other by putting it here.

I play Halo CE to test maps and sometimes online but less frequently.
I also play Portal, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Team fortress 2 and Borderlands all on PC.

I really like Left 4 Dead because it is a true team game meaning it requires and rewards team work and punishes lone wolf play, unlike team play in Halo CE or TF2 which is still everyman for himself. I like Borderlands for its artistic style and unique RPG/First person shooter game play.

Well HCE obviously, but I also like:
Team Fortress 2 because of the online gameplay, it's really fun.
Left 4 Dead is fun with friends, also because I like zombie games.
Alien Swarm is also fun with friends.
Command and Conquer (Zero Hour, Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath) and Supreme Commander because I like RTS games especially if they have a futuristic twist.
Oh and Gears 2 when I play xbox with my friends, because Horde is fun.
Portal as well, because that was really innovative and new, but didn't have much of a replay value, and the advanced puzzles are hard :x

l4d2 > killing countless zombies with big guns and special weapons. soooo much fun!

haha. Whacking zombies with a cricket bat or a frying pan makes my day in L4D2.
BFBC2 I just use the vehicle repair tool and ninja behind campers and start attacking them. (you get points and flamed by the camper >;D)

I played some Red Dead Redemption from a while back. I managed to beat the game at 100%. There is just so much you can do with the game.

I play Halo CE off and on, playing some interesting maps from the site.

To be honest, we should have an Alien Swarm section, as that game is designed for custom maps and the usage of them thereof...

To be honest, people should stop suggesting we have a section for every game there is that is mod-able.

Dennis committed the site to Custom Edition and has done a damn fine job at that, he added Halo 2 Vista just because some CE modders are there too and it's just another Halo on the PC. Unfortunately that failed, so it's not used so much.

Portal, I don't know the story of that. Guess Dennis just really liked the game (even though he's probably terrible at it :P).


If you want to see what happens to general modding forums, go see how terribly organized Modacity is and perhaps read Lag's good-bye thread which points out all the problems etc etc. (he's not 'gone' from CE though, mainly just Modacity)
