What is your property are your manners, ethics, willingness to forgive or not to forgive any perceived or real offense, and willingness to donate (or not to) to others your creative input that others may in turn attempt to duplicate, improve upon, or ruin. You get what you give, thus, ripping is gooooooood.

If it's someone slightly random or someone with not as much potential as I hope/they don't show anything and keep it 'secret' (which means it'll fail) then I don't work hard on it because it's bound to never be revealed and fail. If it's something like CMT, then of course I'll work hard because it's a highly respect mod with the best content this community has ever seen, and I don't want to ruin that reputation.

And if it was my job, that would be great enough motivation because I'm getting paid and if I don't work my ass off I'll get fired.

The discussion of ripping is a valid subject as long as it is a discussion and not a mindless name calling fest. There are various opinions and discussing them can help open the minds of others. When you discuss things you have to find logical and thought out ways to express why you feel as you do about the subject and in doing so you can either question or strengthen your or their opinion. Keep it as discussion and it is fine.

We should hold an online petition to get Bungie to change their EULA on this ten year old game and get thousands of signatures. It should be a requirement for anybody who mods this engine to be a highly skilled artistic genius and know how to model, animate, texture, know everything about particle systems and come up with their own concepts and character designs, and not do it at all simply for the enjoyment of... modding and messing around with the engine. That would make WAY too much sense It should also be a requirement that people who mod the engine have a legal copy of 3DS Max and Photoshop, or stick with the free alternatives. You do realize that this is a 7 year old game, and half the people here are only here to do this for fun? The people that actually want to get somewhere in video game design wouldn't be ripping, and they'd probably be in a better engine by now.
