Errrrr jesse, I forgot to mention I rigged the RL over again, it was missing a few things in the model. Also shaders are looking good, wonder who did them :3, I also need to fix the green lights on the RL.

imo i think the old lighting is better... it shows more depth and color variance.

the new one looks like you turned into a person inside of 3ds max and walked around... it all looks too evenly lit.

There are some stuff in the first and second pictures that just disturbs me, but I really like the way everything else changed. Oh and I'm also abit curious, will there be a ship above Sandtrap?
Because when I was playing halo 3 I noticed that there was a ship above Sandtrap, it looked like the Amber Clad, just curious though.

This is cool. Would be nice if you could make the metal parts on the block structures shine more than the block itself. And I dunno if it's just me, but Sandtrap V1 is really dull... I know it's supposed to be a dull desert in the middle of nowhere, but Sandtrap in Halo 3 feels like the sun is REALLY beaming down on you. Get what I'm saying?

Guy has a point. Sandtrap v1's shaders make it look more like a chilly day with the sun obscured by clouds.

Better shaders plawks.

They're talking about the shaders and lightmaps from Sandtrap v1, not the pictures.

That's more of a haze though, but I do agree with you somewhat, maybe if the shaders were not glossy but rather just very shiny and slightly blinding if you look at some of them.

You're right. In sandtrap videos the rock itself is brighter, or just not as pale. Reminds me of the dullness of z_sanctuary. Sorry.

Jesse why are you changing all of the weapons and such? Wasn't the goal of Sandtrap to get it pretty accurate with a good tag set? I don't think you should be switching out the retail stuff and use the "Codlike" animations.. It just seems better fit to use the retail weapons with actual H3 replica animations.

yeah, you're right. I'll see if broke has that one reload once he logs on. I am trying to go for halo 3 copy, but those older animations got me tired, and they're not new since they were released.

I suppose i'll switch these out for the halo 3 styled ones then. Maybe move the origins back because these were made on wide screen (which i don't use.)

On that note, what do you guys think of the assault rifle? It's not halo 3 copy, but it's close enough for me.

Broke's Halo 3 styled AR animations? He tends to put his own style to his animations, so of course it won't look like a Halo 3 copy, nor was it meant to be. Or do you mean his custom animations, which I made custom sounds for which a very inconsiderate pig used for unorthodox purposes?

He claims to have stolen my style for the grenade but it's variably different.

They're pretty much fine though, although the melee is kind of boring and lame. He isn't exactly very good at melees, so I understand.
