Why do you try so hard at being right? I talking to Delicon. What wrongs with the Elites and Brutes exactly? I like them more than Halo 3 becasue Halo 3 brutes look like a teddy bear in covenant armor to me. :/

Google images. You gotta love it. What wrong with the Halo 3 brutes hand? He isn't even holding it right. :/

I have nothing against halo reach, it's just I think think the graphics look more cartoony than realistic, sort of like halo 2.

Your point is very invalid. Your picture prove nothing. We'll have and see who right when Reach come out this.

I played the beta a lot, actually. And I noticed how the people look like, they're made of clay, I hated the way the elites looked, idk why, the weapons I will admit looked much better than halo 3, but what got me was the plants and ambience, I saw really ugly yellow green vines, which made me say, "WTF did they do to the graphics?"

and unfortunately for the guy who posted above you, I am not mad, and I can't be wrong because there's no such thing as a wrong opinion, or a right one.

Second of all quit calling this an argument, it's not. What it is is you guys trying to make my opinion wrong which as I stated before is impossible because there are no right or wrong opinions. The only thing I can say to you now Revolutionary Captain is :

Self pwned.

Here the word "arguement" means: discussion in which disagreement is expressed; a debate.

So it not a debate about Halo: Reach graphics and Halo 3 graphics?

Not in terms of timeline, in terms of progressive game development.

Race is confirmed as a gametype in Halo Reach. And its much more advanced than Halo 1's.

Quote:
Racing in Reach will be a bit more comprehensive than the original Halo gametype…the icon is the same, but that’s about it. The basic Race is done checkpoint-style, with numbered gates set around the course to direct the flow of the race. We show the next gate number and distance in the HUD, as well as your current lap time. Race courses can be any number of checkpoints, and in custom games, you can set the race length to whatever number of Laps you want (up to 100!). We do some cool stuff like resetting you at the last checkpoint you hit if you fall out of the map, already in your vehicle, ready to roll. All in all, it’s a blast to play. The racing we did the night before ZBR was filled with as much screaming and profanity as you’d get from a Team Headhunter game, so I think we’ve got something here.

Oh yeah, there’s also an option to turn on Land Mines. As cool as it is, I don’t think Forza has mines.
Advantage: Halo.

There were gonna be squirrels running around in Halo Reach, but they got cut up.

From Bungie Weekly Update 06.11.10
Quote: You might be thinking to yourself, “Wait! Ambient life is really important!” but the cold, hard truth of the matter is that adding the correct animations for this little guy might impact other, way more important aspects of the game. It’s gotta go.

Let me clarify on my last ppost my using an example:

Sega GT 2002 for original Xbox:

Forza Motorsport 2 for Xbox 360 (nearly 5+ years later with BETTER graphics):

hmm..... other than a new paintjob and adding some scaled differences, it "basically" looks the same, when your racing it ingame it looks the same since your not paying attention to it.....

its not "what" they remodel, its "how" they remodel it, so when everyone says "look at the new weapons", think of these images and remember that they are all modeled after an older version or idea.

Racers always have good graphics, that's because they can afford to stick most of what the GPU has to do on the models.

Then what about this game that came out for original Xbox:
NASCAR 2003
mostly textures:

of course, some might argue that Electric Arts Gaming Industries (a.k.a. EA Games) is a bad game developer. As a matter of fact, look at Sims 2, more copies sold than most other simulation games available, and its still selling for $30+ at Walmart, sometimes will see it for the occasional $20 or $15 clearance though.

You're basing your judgment for a Halo game on a racing game.

...

Um. You're seriously basing your judgment on a first person shooter, a game in an extremely competitive market focused on graphics, on a genre that's focused on physics?

As much as I supported your opinion, backing up your judgment with a RACING game does not do your argument any good.

well, I was meaning to say originally (with that first post there with the GT40's) was that although they update the models, or remodel them, they are not very far off from the previous model. maybe 1k or 2k difference? not very many.
