It's not a Dev Kit, it's J-tagged. It's the private beta, AKA it's old, the UI would have been a placeholder. If it was fake where did he get the picture of the dhotgun and this? The screenshot hasn't been shown anywhere either.

Ok, there has been like 4 posts on reach with hundreds of pictures. I have to ask. WHO CARES ANYMORE? The beta isn't going to be here for another month so you might as well get over it. I WAS looking forward to this game until that was all some of my certain friends would keep sending me. Honestly, does anyone want to be surprised by games anymore?

Don't download the second one. Only a moron would, it's clearly a virus. I could make the GUI for that in 10 seconds using VB. It didn't go full screen nor would a game ever start up like that. XBOX only company guys, not PC. There i made it.

i dont know about you, but i dont want another mw2 from this game. yes i love mw2, but it has far too many problems to be considered a well done shooter. it has so many less flaws than cod4 that there are too many to count off the top of my head. why am i talking about this? because the topic at hand is the halo reach beta. cod4 had an open beta, where any crazy problems could be reported and weeded out. mw2 did not have an open beta, and thus it shipped with TONS of problems and glitches.

im looking forward to the reach beta, and i plan on doing my part to give bungie as much feedback as i can to make it the best halo it can be

we've barely even seen the campaign which is the thing they really wanna keep secret

as for multiplayer no, I wanna know everything so i can get the drop on all the typical gamers

I never said I wasn't looking forward to it. I am definitely looking forward to it and I am bummed that I may not get to play it right away because I may be out of state working. I'm just saying that I like to actually be surprised by a game every once in a while. I don't want to go into a game and say "hey I recognize this area from a stolen beta someone posted. Now I know exactly what to do to pwn people here". To me, having that heads up knowledge is almost as bad as an aimbotter. I think a lot of people have lost touch about what a game is meant to be; a game! Unless you got sponsors, it is not a job.
This ranking BS is the worst too imo. Besides, Bungies ranking system really, really....... SUCKS. I had a 2 game MVP streak and went down a rank. Does that make ANY sense?

Welcome everybody using elites more then spartans.

I planned on using Elites. They look kickass.

Elites vs. Spartans are only available in a few gametypes. Anything else will be Spartans vs. Spartans and Elites vs. Elites.

It forces you to play as one or the other

... but you're not forced to play Spartans vs Elites.

That is only in arena, in normal matchmaking you choose just like Halo 3.

and with the new veto system, if you don't like Spartans vs Elites, just choose another map :P

I'll wait a bit with pre-ordering, since they'll probably throw in another bonus, which (over here) will only be included once they know what it is and stuff. Also, no choosing between spartans and elites for you, it's gametype specific. Not just in arena.
