So i finnaly got the halo ce original (a friend of mine give it to me), installed the custom edition and when i want to enter a game a masseage pops up and tell me
Operator server has banned you from.... CD key invalid... Negotiting enter to server or somthing like that WTH is happening |

well your friend who used it before must not have been very courteous to others and got himself banned on many servers. That sucks. It's the keys that are banned in servers.
My recommendation. Halo costs 20 dollars and in some places 15 so___________________. You fill in the rest. I think you aught to be able to get what I am saying. |

Nothing to do with being banned from a server. |

the only way that'd happen is if your friend was getting banned like crazy, or he used an illegal cd key from like a keygen.

If you actually legally own the game, you can legally download a backup, and it is not considered piracy.
