Well I am looking to use a newer version of max because right now im working on Hyrule which is a BIG map and I Was wondering if I could upgrade to a newer max and use The Ghost's JMS Model Exporter and have no trouble. Because of the whole cant go to older maxes after saving the max file. I want to make sure that upgrading to a newer max and using the JMS Model Exporter is a good idea. Hope you guys have an answer for me thanks. OBTW I think its lagging because im using WIN 7 PRO 32 Bit. I have a top of the line PC though So I don't think that's it. 3.2 QUAD am3 Core, 4 GB of RAM, R HD 4890 Vapor-x cooling etc. Thanks for you time.

I have to use Ghost's exporter because blitzkreig won't work on vista 64 bit. This causes me to have to wait minutes for complex bsps to export and really eats up alot of time. Is there anyway to modify blitzkreig's files to work on vista 64 bit?

Blitzkreig is 1000000x better than blustreak. In fact I was just talking about this with Higuy the other day. Bluestreak always makes up errors for me and sometimes faces randomly get flipped.

Umm... does it work with 3DS 2010? Because I think that bluestreak would win in compatibility, since it's a script, not a plug-in. Although I haven't used it before. Last time I did, though, no model appeared in-game.

If your exporting a BSP, use Chimp.
If you want to export a rigged biped with the vertex weights, use Blustreak.
Anything else, use Blitzkreig, although I havent found one for my Max 2010 yet...

As far as I know, Chimp is pretty fast with BSPs, although my computer isnt all that good so I cant really compare for speed.

Bluestreak kills Blitzkrieg. Especially with compatibility things.

Blitz is way better and faster than any other exporter.
It only works on max 8 and older though.

I think I know what youre talking about. I searched what you said in your post and got this folder name "SysWoW64". I'm going to try it out and hopefully then it will work.

I just did it and now it works. This is the best thing for me now. It literally takes me 5 mins to export mousetrap with ghost's exporter. Now it does it in a matter of seconds.

I only use Bluestreak to export models with the "skin" modifier (mainly bipeds). Other than that, I use Blitzkrieg for everything else.
