well that's whats so good about halo 1 which u cant really do in halo 3. a lot of people like rpg maps because you dont really need any gaming skill to have fun on them. And before u start saying i cant play halo im a Commander Grade 2 on halo 3.

Hey Opsy are you gonna make this map protected or unprotected. cause every one loves your RPG maps except some people. but for those people they would love to mod these maps with some of there own stuff in it and make it more enjoyable.

I'm just saying his RPG mpas have good scenery lying around but new weapons new bipeds or vehicles. for me as a machinima maker we always wanted to use the RPG maps but they were protected. we could rip the content but not the bsp.

I wish there was an rpg map with ai like a couple humans at your bases,outposts,and ships, covy patrols,hidden flood, and some small bases filled with covenant so players could make their own missions like planting bombs in covy bases or having tactical insertions on caves,forunner structures,bases,etc. ect.

yeah I know ai don't sync in mp so like some of the bipeds just stand there and the player dies when near them but that doesn't stop most they just switch on deathless and have at it.

it would be good if bungie issued a fix for ai's online because it can be done on halo 3's engine so they probably could do it with a few modifications to the current engine.

Um well just have a SP version and a MP version then again that ruins the more than one person and opsy probally wont want to do 2 versions.

I've had the scripts done for a while now. It's just that OpsY hasn't been on for a couple weeks. If that really is all that's left to do, then hopefully implementing and testing the scripts shouldn't take too long once he shows up again.

Sorry for the long leave, my live beeing what it is I lost acces to internet to the last weeks. Good news is I'll be back in full force in a couple of days and will have more free time to work. My Actual job is ending soon so until the next one starts, I have plenty of time to finish 6.2.

There is also a Bug I noticed, When you launch the nuke into the water it doesn't explode, Unless it's made like that.

So I have confirmation i'm leaving tomorow and will have steady acces to net in the next couple of days...


Here's a question: How do I add fog to that water without fogging the geometry that's below it? I have tunels that are way below water level

Aren't map climates separated into Zones? If they are then just leave that part of the atmosphere out.

Never messed with fog, but I think you can do it with portals.

take the fog back, or change the distance. especially if you're going to be flying around a lot it will grey out your map too much
