For a second I thought you were implying Halonimator is Dennis and I was awestruck at Dennis' ability to turnaround his personality so convincingly.

This map will have a stock or CMT tagset. This map will be set at night. You don't want to be walking on the ground because you will get snipped allot. You can but you really want to be on the sticky out bits on the cliffs. There should be some interesting firefights with snipers on this map. There will be teleporters everywhere so you can traverse the map quickly. As you can see this map is not textured. I hope you guys can see where I want to go with this map. Please post your crit so I can improve this map.

PS: Sorry if I am very to the point and don't explain anything. I wrote this post twice because Halomaps **** the bed and an email containing the error log has been sent to Dennis which he will never read '____'

If your bsp 's dont match the CMT standarts, use the stock tagset. See this video to get an idea of how cliff are made in 3dsmax:

Adjutant doesnt extract H2 bsp's as OBJ format. I have 3ds max 8 so AMF and EMF3 formats cant be imported.

H2 seriously still looks like a visual downgrade to halo 1 in every aspect except maybe some specular textures. The artstyle was consistent amongst Halo 1-3 at the very least and I will give you the satisfying ragdolls of the latter two. However there's not much I will give halo 2 aside from its environment and weapon designs, at best.

Halo 2 IMO has the best art style in the series to date. Even over H2A in some aspects. I think that if bungie had another year to work on Halo 2 as a 360 launch title, there'sno doubt in my mind it would have been the best game in the series.

I really can't see why Halo CE would look better then Halo 2 in any way, I just love the colour palette of halo 2, the natural enviroments are much better then halo CE's (I mean, there was like no vegetation at all in CE except for a few trees -.-) and the maps were just visually more interesting, I mean, just look at blood gulch or sidewinder, those maps are really empty while halo 2 maps feel more filled

I think that halo 2 was in the sweet spot of an age between the 6th and 7th generation, I don't know why, but that's the feeling I get from Halo 2

Yeah, I should add though that the textures were sometimes really bad in halo 2, but that was really the only thing that bothered me

I don't understand how you can just switch from one project to another without pause for much thought.

It seems as if one day you are working on a project then you either abandon it or release an early alpha of it or you just replace it with another mod.

Bumpmapping sucks sooooooo much in Halo 2, it just ruins the entire thing.


Its true, Havok Physics used a lot of processing, and the visual where downgraded.

Textures in Halo 1 was 512x512 while in Halo 2 was 256x256.

Execpt for the multiplayer, I agree with Masters and The Master that Halo is as shi7 as Halo 4.

Actually i compare HR with H1 and H4 with H2. (Execpted that H4 multiplayer sucked harder).

And the hell needdler where so dam overpowered..

Oh hey its this video again with the idiot who has the bias of a 5 year old on drugs.

Seriously, I can literally start tearing apart his BS arguments from the get go if I had the time and a full transcript of his ramblings. A good example is his "Atleast a Thousand Hours" quip. I have just over a 1000 hours on Warframe from march of 2015 - ~March 2016. 1000 hours is ~1/9th of a year. Meaning that you would spend about 3 hours, every day, for an entire year, to get to a thousand hours. Given I went on and off with up to 10 hours on multiple days and not even opening the game on others, but take a moment to realize how absurd his comment is now.

I agree with him anout the forrunner encounters, but everthing else is like "Hey, i got killed using a plasma pistol, im so bad at using it that i will post it in a video, with considering the H4 pp has Higher Damage Values than its last game".

Halo 4 had its failures becuase 343i was experimenting how the comunity reacts to thier new enemies. Seriously, Halo 2 is as Bad as Halo 4. Gameplay is a significative part of a game, saying that gameplay the only thing is horsecrap.The Only part that is worth H2 is Delta Halo and Gravemind, everthing else was irrelevant...I came from CoD gaming becuase of lack of good stories. Iv´e play very CoD since Big Red One, i enjoyed the MW saga, but since Ghosts everthing is crap. H2 didnt trasmitted me any feelings, H3 did, H1 did, ODST did, H4 some kinda did it. H2 the same. H2 was design as an arcade game for the young kids of that generation, while H1 was perfectionated for all ages group, becuase the game its self was a risk due to be the first game of the saga. H4 please me with story, sinced i really didnt care for those issues in first place. If you play a game a 1000 hours, you will hate it..litheraly. I never really touched again H2 since i have it in my pc. I touched 3 times H4, but i still play H3, HR and H1 since its replay its more richfull than H2, even if that game has replay value.
If my mods sucks is becuase i dont know how to aply those concepts to them, making simple single player mods is already hard enough.

Literally the entire story is relevant to the game, that's why it's there.

you won't hate every game after a thousands hours dude, I've put more than 1k hours into a few games and still enjoy them. CoD has never had really great stories, not since 4 or so, as far as "feelings" I don't think any of the games I've played have had much impact. Not from storylines anyway.

H3 is more arcade-y than H2 honestly, and H1 is by no means perfected. Pretty much all the games are fairly replayable, but I've found ODST to be a bit moreso than the others.

If you're mods suck, pick something in it you did wrong, find out a decent way to fix it, and perfect that aspect (or at least improve), pick another, and so on and so forth. With MP, always figure out your BSP idea, your actual level flow, then your actual BSP. SP, write your story, then do what you do for MP. Should work fine. Prolly.
