I have the official 1.0.10 version of Halo Combat Evolved/Custom Edition and for some strange reason, it won't let me launch the game. It will come up, but then will minimize itself instantly. I don't know why it's doing this because I was able to play the game fine only a few weeks ago. I can only surmise that I must have had an update on windows 10 that has broken it. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know.

A lot of people use Discord now, so if nobody pops in here, you might be able to find somebody who can help you in one of the various CE-related channels.

Are you launching the game from your desktop? If so try to launch it from your install directory on the C drive, there should be an executable over there.
