Combining appreciation and criticism together helps a person progress. Criticism alone, can destroy goals. Appreciation alone will not challenge abilities. But combining both helps a person learn, grow and achieve their goals.

So I have a small problem. HUD scaling is a thing nowadays, and it kind of messes with my attempts to re-create the Halo: Online HUD. This is only a problem for the lower section really, the top can be re-worked to work with HUD scaling on\off. Top is with HUD scaling off, bottom is with scaling on because of the way the HUD is designed, certain elements only with scaling on or off (but not both). The only solution to this is to make the HUD with scaling in mind. How many people actually use HUD scaling though? Alternatively, I could modify the design in such a way that it doesn't matter whether or not HUD scaling is used, but then it wouldn't be a direct copy of the Halo: Online HUD. Right now I am thinking about making modifications (particularly to the visor) which is pretty much a direct copy right now: Ideas? Comments? Edited by Jesse on May 23, 2016 at 06:46 PM

For those of you who don't use chrome and/or are too lazy to try to figure out how to use the image itself. Word of advice to you dudebro, use a hosting service that works across browsers.

I don't get it? That's probably the best I could say about it because the title doesn't quite fit whats going on. There's no brute seen throwing the chief, instead it looks like chief is falling to the ground, stumbles, and dies. Unless he was pushed off (which means he wasn't paying attention to his motion tracker), there would be quite a few differences. My tips: - Have a brute actually holding chief and then shunting him off of a ledge or something of similar - Air resistance is a big factor in how you would fall. Being said, your limbs would sort of fly out opposite the direction of motion (assuming completely limp, but even if not you would still have that effect) and your body would try to take the path of least resistance (the body would try to tilt tangent to the arc of motion). - Your impact with a Spartan will only in very trace cases be soft like that. There will almost always be a "bounce" on impact unless the Spartan themselves are compensating for the impact. - Your "death" pose, or rather your transition to it, seems too sharp and animated rather than seeming as if it flowed properly. To sell that motion, you would need to slightly exaggerate it. A good method would be to add a stumble of sorts to the moment he hits the ground, and then a slip that causes the full body to impact before bouncing into the death position. Hopefully that helps your execution, assuming you don't shrug it off under the guise of "im not putting a lot of effort into this trolololol"
