Halo ce engine can't handle 128,00000 triangles at the same time... better light, animations and shaders... but overall Unity dont have ai integrated.

Im testing my max (without lag) unity triangle count... and comparing it to halo ce.

Good answer.
Bit of feedback, at the moment your landscape looks a bit open and gameplay relatively flat.
I'd suggest working more on your scenery placement, and perhaps try to build in some verticality. The latter could for example be done quite easily, by implementing a small basic forerunner structure.

As for AI, right now yours seems to be rather spread out across the landscape. There isn't really much of a tactical formation visible amongst them.

Personally I've always preferred grouping them into "logical battle groups", and then stationing them around logical defensive positions. Mostly near cover, eg clusters of rocks, structures, trees. An example of a standard battle group I often liked to use is the standard 1-2 Elites + 4-5 Grunts. Another good example is just a simple squad of 4 jackals, usually I'd have 3 minors and 1 major. So yeah, it helps to think of your enemy AI as strike forces that a real army would deploy.

Nice work man. But before posting screenshots, try populating your environement with scenery tags and maybe adding a beam to your structure. At the moment the environment looks bland and un-interesting. Brilliant work on the structure however. Truly incredible work.

Sorry, this doesn't look well thought out at all. The map is very bland, and your lighting (or rather lack of) makes most of it an eyesore. You should also avoid lots of these flat plains with very little cover. Not only is it hard to manage your spawns, but gameplay wise it will play blandly and be uninteresting. Your single beam makes no sense, unless that is going to be your main illumination for that room. Good idea putting in a sniper marine though, seems like keeping him safe is the only way to clear out that encounter without a pistol or sniper of your own.

Your edges are too hard. I know it sounds silly but the interpolation between the smooth curved areas and the harsh jagged angles throws me off. But it's a menial thing and I understand memory wise as to why you wouldn't feel obliged to do much of it.

Decent unwrapping as far as I can see.

I wonder if Pope will make more tutorials like he promised. :/

It is pretty darn obvious that he did not model it. Look at the quality of the BSP surrounding it. Why the big difference in quality? We conclude that it must be ripped or extracted from somewhere.

Yeah, i didnt model it, i just rip it and port it since i thought i could be a interest mp map. It also includes the structure thing apeared on "the Ark" while you fight against the scarab.

I can make decent cliffs, but those structures are two dam highpoly, and portalling drives my crazy...
