Looks interesting, but the polished BSP looks much more like a prototype. Needs much more detail and overall needs to be fleshed out much more. Keep at it!

Looking at the video that's a bad mod for you. the first time you reload the assault rifle, you can see there's a disconnect in the fire rate. Your grenade throw has a noticeable delay as well. I can only imagine how bad the animation differences really are. Those tags were not made with the intent of working with the halo 1 tagset, they are standalone. Make your own animations and tags with those, unless you want to constantly be at a disadvantage with that mod Also that's not a texture mod, that's a skin mod

BTW i already swaped that pistol with the cmt one. Everithing else: spreads, projectiles velocity, vehicle velocity, huds, damages. are exactly identical h1. We had this disscussion on an old thread, i invite you to test this mod by yourself (just pm if you do agree) and you will see this mod is just like playing a whole new map, just with bg bsp and h1 gameplay. Also the reason i call it a "texture mod" is because last time i made a topic about this, i called it a "mod". everyone thought it was a complete diferent map, so to prevent this i call it a "texture mod" even if it technically isnt. relying on specular really hard. The textures are very noisy, have a lot of issues with baked normals there, like on the right forearm in this pic. The red paint job on the BR looks silly. Far too saturated and it leaves the absent metal of the gun in the flames shape, but since the color is red all it does is look like goo dripping down the side lol. The gloves look pretty good, so does the helmet.

Also, when you replace the player biped with the elite (which plays that longer throw animation) then you see the delayed throw in first person too. Forgot if it's because of the animations, a setting in the .biped ,or whatever but it does happen.
