mike got pretty far on the project he fixed up some gemoetry and got it playable but not looking the best. we will most likely give it another go once our project for ce3 is done

This is an entirely different project. This is for a map pack. It's called the 10k map pack. Basically, 10 maps that theme the 10 single player halo missions. Each map has a cap limit of 10,000 triangles. This map has currently ~9,000.

Got it back. Screen died.

Speaking of which, I was able to complete this concept structure.

You won't find a reference to it anywhere which is sort of why it looks slightly out of wack, but in terms of forerunner craziness it kinda looks like it could be something as impressive as structure or something as small as a sentinel repair bench/system.

For the moment I have christened it "project dew dispenser"

Can you make out those grey horizontal grey lines?

Well there are around 130 of them making it literally impossible to complete even the simplest of task like creating a new folder and renaming it. There are literally certain parts of the screen which are obscured by lines like these:



At first I thought the fault was with my gpu, but it appears the screen pack may have been at fault (according to the repair lab ppl). What ever the reason was I'm happy my little 1.6ghz pc is back with me.

I've also been experimenting with modular meshes. This is something I whipped up after and hour or so, it's not based on any reference I really just relied on the "show end result" toggle to make up my design as I went along.

(Please ignore bad smoothing or Ngons e.t.c)

if the actual hallway was bigger (like have those dips on the bottom be about as wide as a warthog) then it'd be no issue. Otherwise I'd have to concur with bourrin
