so.....tell me, is the assault rifle actually a useful weapon now?I mean it was good in single player for unloading half a clip on the shields, whipping off a melee, then unloading the rest on their health, but on multiplayer, by the time you move in for the melee, your dead...

Cool, I just hope SPV2 will be officially released soon.

I don't usually comment CMT stuff but this time, I will. I'm glad of the new direction, I hope this stays with this new purpose.


Personally, i'd suggest you go on fantasy and make new things, instead of just remake of bungie stuff. It's not a complaint or anything else, just saying it'd be good to go elsewhere.

Let's finish this up.. Then move on to creative stuff :D

Duce has always been an advocate of open sourcing stuff, i would imagine it will appear in due time, unless Dano has them and wont give them over, or something like that.

Maps looking cool, only thing I don't like is the structures; not how there built but the textures or shader make them look a little odd. Might just be lightmaps though.

Oh my look at this.

they dont hr3shy. this hud is probably one of there bests.

The AR works over a very long distance which should more than make up for the lack of power.

If you want to be an official CMT beta tester now is your time. To make things short you now can be. The way it's set up is that you download the maps but you must play them on the Official CMT Server. What this does is allows us to watch everything that goes on with the map and when we want to release newer builds we are able to regulate them by not playing older builds. This then makes older builds of the maps unplayable. Who doesn't love the honor system.

researched on social slayer in halo 3

also the melees are powerful enough, they take two hits to kill just like in halo 3, the only way you could positively improve it is make the player lunge with the melee like in halo three

I played around a bit in the new map. It's quite nice so far. I like that slanted rock that let's you get up to the sniper spawn.

Lol, I was on the official server with the map, and the only one there was Duce.......who was afk. People need to join that server more often

EDIT: @Delicon Yesh! That match on the server was funny. *Spawns in Delicon's face and melees* (Even though I had to leave in an emergency )

I can't play for some reason, because my version changer can't make me go to 1.09. Anyone know a possible way to stay on 1.07 (so I can use Yello Battery), and play on 1.09?

I try to join but everytime I do it says the game has closed down, then I try running it myself just to see how it is and I get an exception :/ (no suprise there)

the map, might have been corrupted during the download. Re-download the file & try again :)

The map is only playable on the CMT dedicated server.

downloading now, if I get in I will stink because it is my first game in 3 months I have played Halo online NOT on an xbox

Here is what I found good:

-Flamethrower.
-Carbine.
-Uber Pistol.
-Shotgun.
-BR grnade launcher.
-Needler.
-Plasma Pistol.

Here is the bad:
-PR seemed useless.
-AR seemed sketchy.
-Sniper was less accurate then pistol.
-The BR didn't seem worth using besides the Grenade Launcher.
-SMG was too UBER. Make it less effective against shields.
