Pretty much sums up the community to be honest. Everybody just moans at the bad things and doesn't compliment anybody on what is good.

to me a post that states the negative in a critique way is critism & critism isnt always positve, it can be negative, & through listening to other suggestions n opinions you learn how to be better & learn from mistakes & soon if you keep it up you get the favour of most of the community.
thar that is why there are negative posts, & thanks nomatik for being aware =P

You shouldnt bake lightmaps at an early stage. And cliffs look high poly compared to the road. Also you wont need polys on parts of cliffs you wont see from the road

w/e it got in halo with no problem. i was talking about someone baking them after shade is done textureing.

Thats not the point. What I'm trying to get at is performance, not "LETS GET A WHOLE BUNCH OF UNNEEDED POLYS INTO HALO".

Hud WIP
Work harder because it breaks every single rule for design in heads up displays, especially rule number 1: "Never, ever under any circumstance obscure the full field of view for any reason whatsoever."

Icon is too large. Placement for the weapon HUD looks strange, and the grenade HUD is too far to the left. Radar also looks squished.

that hud looks like BP's released one. Radar is too squished, grenades are discolored, numbers on sniper hud are out of place, icon looks like crud.
