Well.. I can't do weapons, I have tried before, failed at modeling, uvw wrapping, and animating, basically everything. I also watched tutorials ect. I would like, a STG-44 from COD 5 WAW, and it to be unwrapped textured animated, and put in halo CE, and it be a weapon tag.. we could all use it.. I just would really appreciate if someone would atleast try to make it, cause I tried and failed, can someone rip the model and animations or textures? Please?

Learn the difference between weapons made in the 1940s and weapons made now.

So what if it's somewhat less than modern, it's still closer to our time than Halo is.

Sir, Captain RougeSpartan414 sir, i regret to inform you with utmost redundancy that the discussion involved Halo being 26th century. Lieutenant Major Obvious reporting, sir. rofl, jk. Can the model file be ripped from COD5, or does it have to be made from scratch?

PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK c'mon man, it's not like he's actually yelling. caps is emphasis, not just yelling. anyway, if you rip the model, can you just slap it in HEK and convert it for the right format or something? or does it have to have a lot of work done? i'd like to rip some models from Sins of a Solar Empire, for awesome mini-cruisers but don't know if it will take too much work.

No. If you want emphasis, you can either change the color of the text or use bold, italics, or underlining. Caps is yelling, not emphasis.

The MP-43, MP-44, and STG-44 were the same weapons, with minor edits. I don't really think it matters what you call it.

But generally it would be referred to as the Mp44 disregarding the minor edits, but I guess call of duty though they was too much like mp40 and decided to used the rarely used version,
And now evertime I ever call the mp44 the mp44 people think I have mistaken it for the Mp40

If it was edited, and called the STG-44, and Treyach used that gun, it's called the STG-44 in-game.

Little did he know that the difference between the STG 44 and the MP44 were so minute that it would be impossible to notice them in Call of duty and so call of duty was privileged to use whichever name they chose.
Every call of duty before world at war had called it the MP 44 even modern warfare (it's the last assault rifle) simply because that is was everyone calls it.
But for war at war, just to make it easier for the kids with little knowledge of guns, decided to use the name stg, and forever on whenever people who actually know a thing or two about guns other than that presented to them in video games will have people think they are talking about the mp40 when they talk about the mp44

I could ask Spartan-094 to rip it from World at World for me to animate...but I've got other things on my hands.
Besides...the World at War MP-44/STG-44 is really ugly and really skinny. As much as I love doing origins for things, easy or hard, I detest skinny rifles.

It may be skinny, but it is awesome and has been the layout for the AK...
And it was the first assault rifle
When it was proposed to hitler to be used he rejected it saying it looked too ugly,
Generals went against hitler's orders and used it anyways risking their lives,
It preformed so well hitler couldn't not use it from then on

That's wikipedia, although I'm not going to say most information on wikipedia is bogus, it isn't, but if the average person who played call of duty goes to the mp44 page and sees mp44 at the top they'll think that it is a less common name for it and change it to stg Rouge Spartan, the difference between the STG and the MP44 was that they had different labels stamped on them, I doubt any labels that are the difference are stamped on the call of duty weapons at all, and even with those stamped people would still call what was technically the STG the mp44

Yes, but it was stilled referred to as the MP-44 and I find the minor details between the two so minor that the people even using them wouldn't notice
