no It's ain't. The 3 Guns I said are different guns with a Different name for each I also saw all three in a Gun show and some where else.....So I'm the one who's right...not you.....they may look the same but they are all very Different in there own ways.

The technical terms for which these guns were differentiated during world war two was that each was produced differently and thus had different stamps on the different components

But throughout history the generally version of this weapon has been called the MP44 and until Call of duty world at war it was generally known that any version of that weapon would be called the MP44

If you watch the Military Channel every day, you'd know that the MP-43, MP-44, and STG-44 are all the similar concept. And please don't go bragging about your intelligence, unless we really have to put it to the test.

hey, guess what? the stg44 and mp44 are the same thing. the stg and mp are abbreviations that come from the german language. stg is stermguewer, and mp is machinepistol

yeah the mp44 is in cod4 as a throwback to the fans of the older cods that take place in the times in history where the mp44 was a widely used weapon.

do you guys realize what youre arguing about? the difference is so negligible that if you had all 3 in front of you you wouldnt be able to tell which was which. it does not matter. the man wants an mp44. you all know damn well what it looks like now, so either model it or shut up. seriously this is the stupidest argument ever. its like arguing over whos blood is more red or something like that. its totally pointless.

I've just been arguing that call of duty Waw caused the general public to move away from the general name for "that gun" regardless of the totally and entirely negligible differences, and seeing as I can't be anymore clear I refuse to post in this topic again!

Man speaks truth. It was originally designed as the machine pistol but due to usage of the larger caliber round it became known as the Sturmgewehr 44, translates to storm (or assault) rifle. And this gun was not originally supposed to be produced. Hitler had seen the gun in action and didn't think it was necessary and told them to cancel the project. The men in charge of it didn't agree so they gave it to him to test fire. Turns out Hitler was so impressed he ordered more to be produced. However, this gun wasn't into full production until 1944 and only roughly 400,000 were produced.

The mp-44 IS the mp-43 that Hitler wanted renamed to the 44. The STG-44 WAS the MP-44 before it went into full manufacturing. The only reason it's called the STG-44 is because after Hitler got to test fire it he wanted it renamed to the Storm Rifle for propaganda means (which essentially means assault rifle) And you saw one at gun show? A friend of mine actually OWNS one. I also own several WW2 firearms in addition to extensive research done on the majority of weapons used during ww2.

Well it's a Douglas DC-3 made for the war, so it's a C-47 Skytrain. But another version used during D Day? I would think it's the paratroop version, the C-53 Skytrooper. Hope that's right.

You got it right the first time. It was a C-47, but the civilian version (DC-3).

But seriously, funny that you picked that one of all planes.

I volunteer for an aviation museum nearby and we do events every month or so called Open Cockpits, where we open up around 10 planes and let people climb in the cabins and cockpits.

I'm one of the people who stands inside the cockpit, invites people in, and gives explanations about its history and its controls and what not, and I'm always assigned to the DC-3. Only once was I picked for another plane, the F4U-4 Corsair.

The C-47 was one of the coolest planes in WWII. Actually, it's one of the coolest planes out of everything today.
