Only slight problem left is that the marker for the gun isn't positioned right for some reason.
This happens for the THIRD time already =/ I might use the old marker position since that worked, don't need a corrected gun position if it screws up like this.
Anyways, redid shaders and textures, so well, i'm sending it his way soon enough

Heretics! Will they have Carbines more often than PRs like in Halo 2?


They only appear near the end of the level, but yes. In fact, I think I can only afford tagspace for 2 kinds of Heretics: Heretic Grunt with Needler, and Heretic Elite with Carbine.

Poll: Should the map have suicide Grunts? I'm currently tagging them

Bad news guys. Computer crashed. My tags are gone.

I saved an earlier version of my maps folder (including an earlier version of the map) in an external disk, so I'm working on ripping it and the scripts as well.

When you do that, either they

a) Learn
b) Fux it up worse than it was before
c) Create no change whatsoever
d) Make them secretly pass it on to someone else to do it
or
e) Whine about how they can't do it, and then they force you to do it for them

I'll go for B.

It's fixed now, I re-rigged it since the marker came from a different boneset, that was the problem it seems.

However, an exporter problem fuxed the mesh, but not to worry, I'm pretty sure it's an exporting error that can be solved by exporting again. No, it is double sided, that's not it.



Be back in 5 mins and see wut happened.


Oh and, if you found a way to "extract the script" tell us how =P

Structure needs more markings, intrudes, random extrudes etc etc to make it look more interesting... looks kinda blant, if im a bit late with the comment i'm sorry, but tbh i think it needs more eye candy, all the items there are literally gameplay influencing elements, just that.

I'm considering scrapping the whole 'survival' part of TMAP. Dosen't seem to serve much of a purpose, and it takes up lots of scripting space. Any ideas?

how can the survival take tones of script? isnt it one giant wave, not waves of covenant attacking you? one wave cant be taking alot of script..... mine take 3-4 lines with about 3 commands in each line. (:O)

yeah just make it one wave with respawnable ai.

Did you read the first post? It actually calculates the number of enemies you kill and shows it to you through a HUD message. Its already taken up 500 or so lines of scripts.

Spawn the waves, then you faint, black-and-white/blurry death sequence, then you wake up, only to find a few Covenant soldiers. You kill one of them and take whatever they are holding and the others retreat. You secure a vehicle and get on High Charity.

And then you wake up, and there are a handfull of Covenant guarding your "dead" body? HA! Unlikely. They would probably stick several very active plasma grenades to you, just for good measure.
