Hello, I'm making a mod Halo CE: HellJumpers,
For this I need a team..

What I need is:

- a modeler (3D)
- texturer
- scripter

I'm only doing some models and animations, textures would be great!

Scripter isn't stricktly needed, but I want to make a fire fight mode, so I need a good one ^_^

Tell me what you can do, or give me images, I can see if I will accept you!

i have alot of work to show, unless you have specific requests

I've already written scripts for firefight, and they work ingame. If you can convince me to join, I can make you firefight mode.

How do you plan on making the fire fight mode? It would have to be you and 3 other AI in a singleplayer map.

Fir fight is possible, check gamma's videos on youtube, problem is it will take a heck of a job to do it per kill, (points) since you need to give each biped (per wave) a name, and you the game needs to check if the biped is wheter killed or not, gamma, REP+++ if you can do that ^_^ (if you join) Also beachparty, nice model, looking forward to the new one. also, what can you do best?

Well go back and fix the smoothing on the smg.
It's too boxy also. And it could do with more polies. It looks like a 3p model right now.
Mauler needs work, it doesn't look quite accurate.
UNSC sign looks like the Webelos sign with UNSC typed in on the bottom and some work done in photoshop.
The UNSC's logo is this:

first off those FP arms are just halo 1 fp arms with a slight texture edit, and look NOTHING like the ones shown in the trailers. second off those models shown are totally innacurate and look horrible, I suggest you look at the bettera modeling tutorial and, or search google for modeling tutorials before trying to model anything ever again.

It's not that I can't do it, it's that I don't want to do it. I'm running low on motivation to continue my firefight as it is. I will complete it, but I'm not going to implement points per kill, out of laziness.

Ok on my models: ALL UNFINSHED! THE ARMS AREN'T EVEN FINISHED!
They need better textures (these were just a test), and I'm making a new model for them...(the one now is place holder)

Also I checked the beretta modeling tutorial, but the silenced SMG is a way more complex model as the beretta -_- (as for the brute mauler)

Now stop saying they are horibble please ..

The baretta 9000 tutorial is to get you started, and it is much more complex than either one of those weapons.

the iron sight is old, i prefer using the reflex sight, only then i will animate iron sights for you =P i don't know why they still use irons in the future.... =/

About the FP arms, i think you need to look at, make a screencap, of the trailer, here i took one for your reference:

Magazine looks good, though I think the markings should be less deep, it still needs to look like it fits some bullets, markings look like it blocks all the way through

Yes, by changing the FOV through a script, same concept as the FOV trainer app to change your fov during a game, but then scripted in.

I just prefer DOF alone though, just that and no crosshair, wich just makes you have to use iron sights to aim

looks good so far, try keeping those things in 1 pic though, as in, equiped on the SMG =P

as for the reflex sight, you could use one of/base off these

How to render in 3ds max:

-Make sure you have no smooth groups on, if you don't know how to apply them. To check if you have smooth groups on:
1.Right click model
2.Convert to>Poly
3.*On the right side* smooth (something, I forgot the name, but there are a bunch of numbers)
4. Clear ( I think that's what the button is to delete all smooth groups.)

--------------
Now to rendering:
1.*On the right hand side* Picture that looks like a light going toward the right side (If you highlight it, it brings up a description called light) ... its the third button in the set of pictures.
2. Add a skylight and place it anywhere in your scene
3. At the top tray:
Render>Advanced Lighting>Light tracer
4. Press render.

There now you should have a proper render. :)

None of that work is yours first of all. How about something you actually modeled and textured on your own?
