Also, it does in fact have something to do with Halo: CE. After the armor is completed, I'll be editing the low poly models slightly so they can be used in Halo CE as a biped.

Anything Halo, but mostly limited to Halo: Custom Edition. Dennis has stated he'll have tolerance for a few Halo 3/ODST/Reach threads, as well as a bit of Halo related junk, but Custom Edition is still the main focus for this section of the forums.

And yet there are threads discussing what if the Rebels fought the Covenant that Dennis is also discussing. (Well cracking jokes more like it ) Back on topic.

Oh, and Dennis is interested in this project, so if he didn't allow it he wouldn't have posted asking me to keep us updated.

As for projects after this, I'm working with our "advisor" on a marine and flood marine project.

Yodajammies was hoping to do some permutations for the armor as well, so hopefully you'll start seeing some CNC perms pretty soon. :)

Yoda forgot to put his lid on the dragonskin epoxy, so it's been open for at least six days now. That's going to slow down our progress a bit since he has to stand over the mold with a heat gun in order to get it to do anything. Other than that, everything is looking good and final molds will be completed soon.

no, its a burst fire weapon, and burst fire weapons are different than semi autos. im not sure which set of laws you are referring to but here in America you need a class 3 firearms license to own and operate automatic weapons. im pretty sure burst fire falls under that too

For the record. ODX had it right: The main focus of this forum is Halo Custom Edition, however that does cover subjects about Halo in general as well as ODST, Reach and Halo 3, as long as there are no more than 2-3 threads on the home page about the non-Halo Custom Edition subjects. This thread does qualify as an acceptable subject, because it is about Halo and is unique.

No one other than myself will make the determination as to what is or is not acceptable for posting.

By the way Nugget, there is a legal "loop hole" per se that you could use to trade the armour sets. You could simply give the armour for free, but ask for, I don't know, maybe $1000 postage and packaging. That way, you're not selling, so you're not breaching any laws against resale of copyrighted items. Dennis mirite?

Yoda started CNC'ing the chestpiece. He's going to work on the boots and shin piece soon. I have to finish modeling the helmet, thigh, and shoulder pieces, and then I can start on props (nades, guns, etc.)

When your done with this project, you need to record your self running threw a shopping mall wearing it, hiding behind cover, throwing grenades, LOL.

Please do this.

Also, Will you use a light-absorbent body suit to use for under-armor? And hopefully you use a good model of a br.

I'll be doing much shenanigans while wearing the suit.

I'm going to be using a body suit until I finish working on an undersuit that is accurate to the actual thing.

We've got a vacuumformer and some new paint methods for the visor. If neither works, we'll go with a classic double motorcycle visor cut with the correct details.

So will the suit be wearable and if so .. who going in first?
