Just wondering, is it possible to change the gravity? I know I can edit the height the player jumps, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I dont think its possible. But editing the physics of vehicles, and the options for the player can simulate a change in gravity.

You can only simulate it by changing velocities.

Like you can change the veocity and acceleration of a biped to give it a different jumping height.
But what are you trying to make the gravity changed for? like a vehicle..

With open sauce you can change it real time with dev (From what I heard).

But I have absolutely no idea how to get OS working, let alone learn how to change the gravity :\

ok, first attempt I set the airborn acceleration to 100 in the globals and the jump velocity in the biped tag to 100, I flew so far up I was at 800 km's away from the flag in seconds.

Ahh I cant figure it out, you should ask E3pO, in his/his teams surf maps they did it.

thats actually quite easy. I used to do it on HMT. you cant really make the player have 0 gravity, but you can make it fly. All the weapons have a gravit option, which you can uncheck, then all you need to do is change the vehicle physics or something.

Thanks everybody I got it, if you're interested, you can just check off the "flying" flag in the biped and then set everything for "flying" to the same as the sentinel and he will fly.
Now, off to create my 0 gravity map :D

OS just requires at most 2 dll. One is the actul OS dll that you put in the halo ce directory, the other is something else that it depends on that you might not have that goes in t=your sytem directory. From there, you just start halo ce, load a map, and in the console type "gravity 0.0001". It's magic. The problem is that to play your map people will have to have OS.

Where do I get the .dll that goes in the system directory?
