Blam wasn't designed for this kind of thing, and the map files are too big, who would use it? It slows down performance on most computers (have you seen screenshots from most of these peoples computers?) It doesn't matter anyway, the engine already doesn't look real, and making these sorts of additions won't help. A newer engine would be more appropriate for this kind of thing. Also, for the "lulz" I vote for overcast. Cos I'm different like that. Edited by SiMuLaCrUm on Jan 6, 2009 at 11:26 PM

It's just not needed.
And it is completely impossible to be a non-conformist because being one will make you conform to non-conformity.

DEE keep this up, since youtube got true HD all my machinima episodes are filmed in widescreen HD, HD content IS an improvement, BLAMF didn't look that good in standard halo 1 maps, but compare it to something like CMT Tensity, then you really see that it CAN improve if the content is good enough, I will film a HD movie on your map dee, i'll post a link here when it's uploaded
keep it up, you're doing awesome

If we get true HD content then it's a major step, back reading older posts, bigger cache files isn't a real problem even though BLAMF wasn't designed for it *coughtoolprooverridescachesizelimitcough* Good thing is, this sky is also mirrored vertical so that it's not cut off in the middle. I just tested it in Narrows, total cache file size 350 mb, no don't go offtopic about narrows, i'm just saying i did. The sky is sweet, oh and my onboard geforce 7050 PV gets like 40 fps on that cubemap map lol im getting a crysis warhead class card next month no worries, makes making HD movies in halo easier, ftw... So, here's the link of the sky in action, I did it once so some errors in there arn't corrected afterwards, too lazy as it's not a real episode just a test lol. *youtube link* it's still in the processing stage on youtube, i'll edit this message with link in some minutes, it should be ready by then. ofcourse, i have to post a sky pic in action full res, just to fit in: clouds look a bit odd at some spots, streched out, but that's just a minor detaill, overal is great in action, especially when you fall to death =D

sigh, once again, i'm just doing this for the episode, i did not release anything and i won't, and there is nothing illegal about modding a map for personal use like making machinima's in them. end of discussion, back to topic

I know, just saying. Make a sky, with fully cloudy, and a sunset off in the distance. So on one side, theres orange from the sun, then theres full night sky on the opposite side.

one side orange? looks like you're referring to CMT's sky just stick to the original plan i'd say again, stop worting about the rips and mods i make, it's all for vids, enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLKP0mkiNHw it's totally not processed yet, when it's processed in a few minutes the low quality version will work, then after some more minutes HD option pops up aswell as the title and description, thats how youtube works .png)

it was not a narrows remake, i never said i modelled the level in the movie to resemble the h3 level narrows, stop telling stupid things that are totally not relevant, i dont need a 13 year old kid telling me it's he lolled because he thought it resembled something but wasn't close enough to his illusion. and yes, i rip, a lot of stuff like halo 2 vista, nothing wrong with that, as i didn't release anything yet. Thank you for naming one of the billion things i do.
