If your doing custom weapons, you'll need animations. I'd help you out with that if you like.

well my story line idea is this

On board The POA you are an engineer who has never wielded a gun before, and you and a squad of marines must fight your way to the escape pods. Upon crashing on Halo, you and your men find your selves in the canyon where the control room is. You fight your way to the top, making good friends with the marines and blasting alien behind Before meeting guilty spark, who takes you to the library, where you must try to obtain the index. Although there are not as many flood as when MC does it, there are no monitors. Just before you and your new found friend (the rest of the squad have died) retrive the index, you find out what it does. When Guilty spark hears your refusal, and you fight against Sentinels for a while, before a very dramatic cut scene in which you die. (I haven't worked out at who's hands yet who kills you flood or Sentinels)

You don't have to use it i just wanted to prove a point to nexus halo

What point? That your idea sounds like Halo with the exception of the Master Chief replaced by an Engineer? Your point hasn't been proven.

Also I think it would be really cool if there was a cutscene showing the third brother inside the drop pod like bungie is going to do.
And the brothers should have names also

I think the names could be John, Alex, and Logan. But thats only what i suggest but ithink it should be voted if we have those names or not.

You guys should try to make the game experience slightly different than normal Halo. In the same way that Halo 3: ODST is making it different, you should do something similar.
For example.. removing shields. Making there more Wraiths, Ghosts, Banshees and maybe some custom Covenant vehicles for example.

I wouldn't use the old CMT Brutes, they're.. pretty horrible.

Nexus, my idea is going to sound like halo because it takes place during the first halo. I couldn't expand the storyline so much as i would have wanted for that reason. Your idea isn't that bad, if it wasn't for them flying in to the setting sun

well I like Alex but I was wondering since theres 3 characters could I maybe voice act one of them? because from what I have seen it looks like there might be a free spot?

If I can then you guys don't have to give me betas or anything like that, the only thing that I do wanna see is the parts were I act out the voice but a beta would be nice...

No, how about Bravo Team Alpha? And i think that there should be some boss fights also. I have an idea for a boss. How about when you crash land and the pelican is destroyed in the crash and the warthog it was carrying was destroyed and then a wraith comes in and you have to destroy it and escape before covenant reinforcments arrive. After you destroy the wraith you find 3 motorcycles on the ground near you, and then the Halo 3 campaign trailer music comes on and you must drive the motorcycles to escape the ghosts trying to kill you.
(oh and btw you dont have any heavy weapons on you at all in the beginning of the mission. So you need to destroy the wraith with only ARs, grenades, and smgs.)

Well first off we need to come up with an idea on what the story line is about lol. Then we need to do our parts for the campaign. For me for example i need to wait for people to start making the BSPs weapons, and all of that other stuff.

heres the storyline:

-From there you go to finish the mission you had at the beginning of the story and eventually only the brothers are left alive and complete it.
-Then the brothers are extracted and fly off into the sunset.

What do you think? Of course i would have to model a who city which wouldn't be too difficult. The only problem would be different buildings. I would simply make many buildings and reuse them. Also to lower poly count I would go through the areas we are not using and delete windows and just put a texture there without an extrusion. Of course the areas that are not being used would have a trigger to kill you when it is entered. This project will require lots of scripting, animating, modeling and tons of other stuff.

What I will do is make a script of what will occur in Act 1 and 2. Then I will post an overhead view of the city from concept art. I'll make a new Topic when the time comes. Here we can just discuss ideas.
