try doing the whole gun, and adding good details later. it's a lot easier.

for example, here's how far i am with my sniper skin for something else

Topology isn't quite a big deal for bsp because no smoothing problems will arise from moveable lights in halo as it will on non stationary objects.

Good topology is evenly placing the polies and adding more detail in places that you will see most and less in places that you never see.

Yeah, adding on to what wesman said, an example of bad topology would be: overpolying the trigger and leaving the main body under-detailed.

The only thing I (kinda) modeled was the bsp, and some minor modifications to some of the weapons, topology on the bsp was pretty nasty when I got it. I tried to do my best to fix what I could.

Yhea dee already told me he would, BUT I NEED A SKY Btw if anyone can help me out in making a sky ill do it myself.

I thought the MMT Sky was Extinction's.

MMT_Sandtrap's sky is a fail sky that uses d40's sky bitmaps.

I think we should make a real looking sky. idk if this is possible but could'nt you take a picture of the sky ooutside like 1-5 times and put it up there. or would it look realy bad?

Why would you put a real looking sky on a map that is on The Ark of Halo 3? You wont even see a sky in real life with a huge frigate, brown-orange sky, and other forerunner stuff.

Grunt how do the angles feel on the structure? I'm not sure if you modified them but in H2V the angles where a bit too steep IMO.
