That's an indirect fire vehicle though. Artillery if you will. What I am working on is a direct fire vehicle, the kind that works around infantry. That's closer to what I'm doing. Updated the shape on the hull a bit more, and reworked the turret a bit. here is p3dE: Also looking for ideas for detail bits to put on there to make it less flat and plane looking. Becuase all I've got for ideas so far is tow hooks, some luggage racks, a grill, and viewports. Edited by Skidrow925 on Oct 22, 2015 at 08:44 PM

Edited by Skidrow925 on Oct 22, 2015 at 08:44 PM Unfortunately this is a bit of a wall, because most military-use vehicles are very angular by design. Anything you might need for storage is usually on the inside; Tow hooks aren't common features on APCs, grills are usually armored and angled so as to prevent bullets and whatnot from damaging the internals - which, as a side effect, ever so slightly reduces the silhouette; Viewports are small, few, and far between - the absolute bare minimum to maintain visibility in case of external camera failures.

Well, yes, but it still needs to look more interesting than an angled box. I do get what you mean, but what I'm talking about is, say, a stock M1A1 Abrams MBT versus a M1A2 with ERA and TUSK or whatever on it. It's a blank vehicle, but it's got a bunch of stuff on it. Added (read:shamlessly copied) front thing like the H:R scorpion has, though not too sure about the side parts of it. Also on the right is two jerry can holders, on the left is a thing for tools or whatever. On the back corners, and most of hte way to the front are places to attach hooks/chains for air pickup/drop or whatever. Oh and the viewport looks terribad and I'm re-doing it later. Edited by Bottletopman on Sep 21, 2015 at 11:30 PM can happen :P, but yes I'm MrTimm / MrTaxikiller / Taxikiller, whatever name you want to call me. I want to apologize for the lack of activity on answering but I had some big setbacks on the mod, and school is taking allot of time, now I'm in the middle of moving to a new house. So when I'm settled I'll try to get this model up for download.

Hello all, I did something similar when they released a few screenshots of the Halo 3 ATV before release. Not sure if anyone on these forums will remember that since I only posted on gearbox. Planning to do the same for the Razorback. Ill tag it up and throw in a new map super soon for the halo mod fans. Ill finish the texture bake this weekend. Surprisingly the image quality is holding up quite well, including the normal bake on the high poly tires. It was a bit tricky with only a few pics and a 10 second video to reference. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rAa0Ea

OBJECT 223 "Uber Abrams" [Ported, kitbashed, and heavily modified by Peep210 and Echo-77] Background: At a school bookfair in 2006, I discovered Video Game Tycoon: Gold Edition (unrelated to any other Tycoon-series game), with the selling point of "create your own 3D video games and burn them to disk: basically the coolest thing you can tell an ~11-year-old boy with access to a computer. The core mechanics were relatively basic, but there was a decent variety of assets you could use. One of hostile NPCs you could use to populate the level was a large, dual-turreted "M1A1 boss" tank. Fast forward to 2021: some spark of memory reminds me that this game existed, and that it had a weird tank that I can't find a picture of online. I also have no idea where my game disk is. Enter Peep210, a programming wizard who proceeds to decompile an online ISO in order to fish the model file out and convert it into a viewable format, at which point my ambitions became grander: "What if we put it into Halo?" The actual "M1A1 Boss" unit kinda sucked: it was very clearly a unit that wasn't meant to be scrutinized at close range. Using it as a general guideline, we extracted the game's standard Abrams model and cloned, chopped, and reconfigured it until it was a monstrous, twin turret Franken-tank. It is the first 3D asset I've ever had a hand in creating, and the first custom model I've ever put into CE, and it was a joyous experience to have shared with a friend that I made on this website so many years ago. Memelore: The sole example of Object 223 was fabricated in secret, using captured UN tanks in guerrilla workshops during the Rainforest Wars of 2162. The improvised vehicle saw brief service by the Koslovics as a hybrid self-propelled gun/armored troop transport before being immobilized in heavy streetfighting near Buenos Aires. While the rearward turret retained its original 120mm cannon, the forward turret was fitted with a shortened gun reserved solely for low-pressure shells and canister shot.
