Anyways.... has the interior of the CoQ changed a good amount? Last I heard it was just a few box hallways connecting a few box rooms.

last you heard? It's obviously very boxy since it's meant more as a spawn base than a gameplay area but it's been made complex enough so that those caring to explore it or to have RPs have more than enough room to mess in. as I'm counting right now, there's 38 rooms in it. Take it the way you want, that's Alot. Simply modelled but exhaustive in term of gameplay.

Ah sure, catch me on xfire when you get a chance. As for the map; yes, you Will get lost. Multiple times and countless places. There's so many places you could get lost( notably due to the scale of the playable area) Just the ship itself... there's 6 entrance points ( Some that only the most skilled pilot Ever will be able to reach).Some people could need someone to actually tour around...



Also note


I have added support for Oddball and KoTH( aswell as Crazy King). Those gametypes are restrained to some ''Arena like'' portion of the map with Oddball beeing in the laboratory's Hangar and KoTHl in some of it's Pool sector. On our betas so far, Oddball was Most enjoying. As it goes, Betas should end this week for an upload on Halomaps when see fit. If we see an option to add more stuff in, we'll delay it slighly more but everything's slated to be out before august.

Sheesh will you stop with that, because it's a RPG map doesn't meant it has to have noob nukes everywhere. The only thing on your list is the draco and it has to be manually spawned. It actually makes a great ''Waterbase'' for those who still do that. As for the Longsword, Obviously, while it's suposed to be a fighter it's significantly larger than a boeing with it's wing so mind you, there's no way it can fit inside a ''Frigate''

It's just that I replaced the Oddball model to make it funnier





Also, anyone knows how to export with 3ds 9? I have Bluestreak but I export a simple, 20 polies box model and it gives me 18 open edges...

You should put a Covenant Battle Cruiser in the sky somewhere else in the map, to give it more of an RPG element. You could also put hangars on them, if you haven't already (Haven't read the whole thread) and put some dropships in them. I think that would work, wouldn't it? I mean, the ship IS a part of the BSP, right?

using the hanger from a50 (truth and reconciliation) would rend far better results 094; besides it would probably be easier xD

i agree with you guys i think there should also be a covie cruiser and have some covie bipeds hidden somewhere so thats people can bump posses them so poeple could actually rp or make machinima movies with rpg beta 5

there is a vereint of the draco without nukes - the only one i saw with nukes was rpg beta no ai v4.

I added a spawnable nukeless draco. As for the covie ship, it was ruled out early in dev for some reasons... beeing the current size of the map mostnotably. Sapien is giving me ''Max Render Object'' Exceeded at the moment which would at best mean I have too much scenery and such decorating the map. If I had added a Covie ship, it would probably be even worse. This error currently prevents some of my vehicles to spawn in proper gametypes meaning one team will have no pelican in CTF from time to time while the other gets 2 Scorpions 2 pelicans and a kestrel.


I'm coming back home today, I left yesterday to see Paul McCartney's show live in Québec City and mind you, it was AMAZING. I'll spend the day refining my UNSC Prowler model and detailing, finishing it's interior. I don't know if it'll go in RPG5 however... but it looks badass right now. It's basically a 3 floored UNSC ship, built for a5-6 crew capable of slipspace travel using Pulse Lasers. More details on those in Ghost of Onyx.

It Is that much and honnestly, There is a bunch that could be optimized... Anyway.


I'm connecting the interior to the Lifepod exit at the moment and later on, i'll be working on the top Airlock.

Still debating that. It would make an awesome vehicle but it could also be fun to play in for RPs... the lifepod is very well in there on the bottom floor... If it's a vehicle I guess It could work like the firefly in the draco. Only problem is that you can't really walk in a moving flying vehicle...

I heard some bribes of it but I was taking a break from CE during that time and from what I know, it was on a slow, ground vehicle. Not on a flying Prowler

Okay for the prowler I need help.... I want to know how to make glass/Grate (Modelling wise, not how to make a shader_transparent)... I Heard it uses 2-sided property(Either in 3ds or in Guerilla) and that would create a seal of my unsealed glass plane. Help me please:)
