I have a question, with bipeds\vehicles\weapons whatever if you make it a shader_environment will the specular show? I know bump maps don't but i was wondering if specular would.

Hey this may sound... different, But regarding that flood tank biped, Would it be possible for it to be rigged to the hunter's bones? What I mean is give it almost the same melee and movement animations as the hunter. I have been thinkin it would be cool to have it as an enemy, and being around the same size as a hunter, along with having a similar melee attack could it work?? I'm no good at rigging or animations, but i thought I'd just throw the idea out there for somebody who has the skills

Yeah its concept art, been looking for things that never made it in-game. I don't like Halowars, but some of the animal concepts that didnt make it are nice and actually look Halo. The rest of the game was crap and didnt look Halo, for example that disgusting picture above :)

@killzone: nope, i mean actual Longsword from Halo 1, 2, 3 and Reach. The Shortsword is a different vehicle.
