Move the gun forward a bit; it looks too big at the moment. Also, change the left hand's position so that the thumb covers the grooves for the fingers; right now, the left hand looks too small. Overall, however, you are improving. Keep it up :D

And don't listen to Bo about pointing towards the center. To be quite honest, it's up to your preference. You could point towards the center if you want to, but I prefer origins not pointing directly at the center, as do several other animators. In fact, it's probably better to start off not pointing at the origin, allowing you to develop your gun's origins and placing them in ideal spots without the restriction of pointing towards the center. Once you get used to this, then you can decide whether you want to listen to others on whether to point towards the center.

alright, took your tips (always stop animating for somebody who knows what they're doing :D)

I tried getting the thumb over the grooves as best as possible without skewing the other side of the gun (reload involves the right side of the gun). I gotta fix the link on the pinky and the thumb, so it'll be lots better once I get it fixed. But for now, I gotta turn in.

Way too much of the gun is showing, move it down a bit and perhaps back.

Personally, I hate the MW2 rig because of that horrible thumb.

Yeah, mw2 thumb is weird. I don't have any other human arm rigs though. All I can probably do for the gun showing problem is move it down, otherwise I'll run myself into a corner when animating a reload.


just swapped out the rig that i found on fpsbanana. it's probably the best rig i've ever used :P.

Your motions have come along significantly. However the firing is not convincing at all. It looks like a vibration, not recoil. Try this for example:

I've set it up so that the recoil builds on recoil from the previous shot in the burst. This is because theres not enough time in between shots for the gun to return to a comfortable position.

Your motions are far to fast and jolty. Try slowing them down a bit, I'm sure it will be significantly better.

For no particular reason, I modeled a silencer (lolcylinder+extrudes) and unwrapped and textured it.



Then I modeled a scope (lolothercylinder+extrudes) and attached them both to the MA5C.

Just one comment on that pistol, IDK if you or anyone cares, but that bullet goes like a whole 3 cm. before it exits the barrel. In real life, that would equate to a pistol with the accuracy of a AR I'm pretty sure.

Idk what is the USP .45, and it was designed before my first look at the REACH pistol. Anyways i tried to make my own thing
