it was explained a few posts up the list, place all the bitmaps in one image using photoshop and make sure each counter bitmap is seperated by a 1 pixel wide true blue (0.0.255) border
then in the gbx model put a 1 in the permutation box of the tens shader.

Because Altheros was such a brilliant mapper.
Srsly, Killzone, the bloom is just beautiful, makes it look totally amazing. I wish I knew the syntax for such great bloom.
And "slapped normals"? Yeah right. How about the Normals slap Altheros? I'd PAY to see that.

@ altheros (i know your watching) know that your stuff is lightyears behind anything anyone is doing here, and you wont even admit it.
and i can make collisions, everything is collideable and working fine. he has just been away for a while and i must admit i like it that way... and my bitmaps have alphas as well your JUST LOOKING AT UNFINISHED STUFF AS THE FOCUS OF THE VIDEO WAS MAINLY ON THE BATTLERIFLES Edited by killzone64 on Apr 3, 2013 at 07:27 PM

my laptops mobo gave out after 5 hard years, my desktop was (annoyingly) built for me. and the guys my family had build it, didnt calculate the amount of power needed correctly so the psu surged (crappy coolermaster, never buy one of them) and fried my videocard.

I modelled this rifle quite some time ago, but didn't get around to starting the textures until the last couple of days. I still need to touch some things up and there are a few more details to add. But any criticism or advice would be welcome.     In case anyone doesn't know it is a Russian Mosin Nagant M91/30 and it fires a 7.62x54mm round. Edited by Yoda on Apr 5, 2013 at 12:33 PM

I'm getting frustrated with this how do i get the compass and the ammo display to work on my weapons i have been looking at files and files and I'm getting no ware. how do i get it to work I'm using the default AR shaders and stuff what do i do.

you should post a higher resolution image so that we can see the specular lighting better, also put it in a better lit area.
and the custom ammo indicators look terrible with that orange gun...

Yeah well the reason the gun is orange is why I made custom one because the specular lighting was causeing a huge glare on the orange one, I can only assume its because the texture is orange. if it was regular it would still have orange glare with specular lighting. at lest this way it just looks more like its brightly lit. and from 3p view it actuly looks better than the others.
There is not anything I can seem to do about the glare. if the weapon is using specular lighting. the default color make it look pew very ugly. maybe I should try white. or red or another color.
2 other people sayed that one was there fav. out of the 3 because it lights up like that. I tryed to get the others to glow like that, and experienced difficulty. but I will problly keep trying,
how is blue on arctic? maybe I should make it white? or is dark blue okay?

Between that and the DMR well lets just say those to weapons look yucky in Halo 4 and the rail gun was stolen for Halo CE! I like the DMR I just don't think it belongs in halo. I think These weapons just make halo look like cod or mw2.
