Nice alot of the model is temporary, especially the sights and the thing between the two barrels. I need to find a better reference for that since i cant tell what it is but i think its another bar for the slider. Its a Mossberg 500 btw and I thought my smoot was pretty good. every polygon has a smoothing group ID.

Inb4 cheddars you used multiple meshes in your model for stuff you could model in

Not bad. Not too bad tbh Lolololilol I see you mixed some modeling methods, and that shows you're starting to know What you're doing
Harsh tiem nao : The handle/back is obviously too wide, but for this you can just move the object near the symmetry plane, it would also give a better feel of the borders of the handle piece. The shoulder rest (you understand me.) could use a lot more depth, because it actually looks body to me. You could give that depth by cutting carefuly about triangulation, or you can also cut-détach-move-bridge to get nice insets... but it's better to give that depth at the early beginning just by moving the height of the polies.
The front grip seems hard to use too...
But if you want to port it, no one will care about What I mentionned, so start unwrapping ! :D
Good model.

I don't know if you are very familiar with the weapon, but I have sold several of these shotguns and I can tell you that the stock needs serious work, and your trigger is too wide (just the trigger, not the trigger gaurd) also, most 500s have only a little ball bearing looking thing for a front site (it litterally looks like someone glued a BB to the end of the barrel) only reletively high-end shotguns have anything more elaberate then this (there are some exceptions).

If you're looking to make the entire gun look really nice, the stock is pretty bad. Not horrible by any means, but it's bad to where it's just blocky. Definitely check some Shotgun references and notice how the stock is designed in nearly every viable shotgun.

Cap that end as your wasting a lot of triangles there. You have alot of edges that can be welded together, for example on the barrel there are 4 edges that connect something below. You also have a lot of edges that don't do much tbf. It is also a rather basic design with not much detail to add onto, so there isn't really much that can bee critted on.

For starters its usng os and has no fake bumps, Better multi Wait, if its using OS then why do you not have normals on it? Because at the moment it looks pretty gross, especially the stock closest to the screen.

Not good since he can use OS instead for normals. Terrible shaders though.
