When I use OS to bypass the file size limit on single player maps, I generally find that I get the "there are no more fee tag slots" error when I add too many new tags. Chances are you will get this error is you're adding all these tags to campaign scenarios.
Download the scripts, place them in the correct directory for example a30 would go in the "data\levels\a30\scripts". Then load the scenario in sapien and compile the scripts. Sometimes, for me, the camera names and flags duplicate for some unknown reason. If this happens delete the duplicates and recompile.

Try cmt's V2 elites. I think they included a heretic armor permutation in one of the later releases.

I thought that this was to do with the overall amount of tags a .scenario could reference, from vehicles and bipeds to shaders and bitmaps (correct me if I'm wrong) and this could be increased similar to the tag space being increased in version 3.0. Edited by ERNIE on Dec 26, 2012 at 08:35 PM
Will there be a fix or work around for the "no more free tag slots" error plaguing single player map makers?
Just wondering, is there a release of the reach grunts with all the armor perms, for example ultra, heavy ect.?

I have recorded some of the grunt unit dialog from halo reach and converted it to wav format but when I attempt to compile it into sound tags with tool I am getting this error: <ACMERR_NOTPOSSIBLE#512>. I have the xbox codec set to priority 1 and the wav files are 22050 Hz, 16 bits, Mono.
The recorded animations are in the .scenario. Try replacing that tag and see if it works.
When extracting tags with HEK+ the scripts sometimes become corrupted. Download these http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3424 and recompile the scripts in sapien. You will need to put the a50.hsc in the folder Data\levels\a50\scripts and likewise with the other campaign scenarios before compiling.
The drone sounds are awesome. How's the progress?
You can create the Honorguard Councillor by editing the .gbxmodel of Delta4907's elites. Open that file up in Guerilla and scroll down to regions. From their untick the "cannot be chosen randomly" box for Honorguard permutation for arms and legs. Then tick it for the domo and Honorguard permutations for the head region and untick the Councillor. Save it as a new gbxmodel and set an elite biped to use it. The biped should have Honorguard arms and legs but have a Councillor helmet. Hope this helps.
I am trying to load cmt spv3 tags in OS sapien but I keep getting the same error about the tags shader models. I have re-extracted the tags multiple times but this hasn't fixed it. Debug.txt gives this error

debug.txt does not list any errors when I open the map. I can compile it into a .map file and play it. It only crashes to desktop when I compile it as a .yelo and then try to play it.
There isn't any errors listed in sapien and yeah I used map_name. I compiled the map in regular tool and It works. It only crashes when I compile it as a .yelo file.
I compiled a single player .yelo map with OS tool and when I attempt to play the map the game crashes to desktop. Ive tried to compile different maps with OS tool and the same thing happens each time I try to play them. Does anyone know what causes it?
