When extracting tags with HEK+ the scripts sometimes become corrupted. Download these http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3424 and recompile the scripts in sapien. You will need to put the a50.hsc in the folder Data\levels\a50\scripts and likewise with the other campaign scenarios before compiling.

You could do that.
Or, you could just rip the scripts with my script extractor, which is here: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=6470

I don't think that's the problem, because I DO have the scripts (from my PC modding period). The scripts are there, and so recorded dialogs, encounters spawn and so on run as they should. What is wrong are just those 2 things. Maybe, if someone has time, may give a look at my map and guess what's wrong...?

Use my tool to re-rip the scripts. Also, see if the animations are ripped correctly.

Not sure if it's HEK+'s fault but I get tons of script errors when I extract scripts using your program.

The recorded animations are in the .scenario. Try replacing that tag and see if it works.

His script extractor doesn't extract scripts in a proper format to be compiled, it should just be used to see how things had been done and not for compiling

Nope. It extracts exactly what's in the map, IE, what tool produced when it compiled the scenario. The extracted script should always work fine when recompiled.

For the dropship and pelican problem, try replacing their .physics tags with backups.

It has never worked for me, only ever SP scripts that worked flawlessly for me was ZTeams

It works fine.
Extracted script:

(script static long ss_team_index
(begin
(player_data_get_integer
(player_local_get) "team_index")))

Original script:

(script static long ss_team_index (player_data_get_integer (player_local_get) "team_index"))

Upon compilation, tool adds (begin's to the script, for whatever reason. The script still works fine, regardless, and it's formatted better.

Hmm well I will still use Zteams scripts, they work fine and I don't need to run a application or download the campaign map before I can get them, only reason to use that application is if I wanted the scripts of a custom campaign map which I may use to re-achieve my custom scripts from my CMT SPV2 remakes

About the phisics tags and scenario tag: I extracted them directly from a working copy of a50 for CE and PC. The problem is always the same, recorded animations work as they want, I tried to compile b40 and I saw a Pelican landing me in the middle of nowhere, darn it =| is there a way to contact CMT or the author of the working copy of a50 in HaloMaps to know how did they bypass that...?

EDIT: Here it is what I think. Tool corrupts it someway while compiling. I extracted right now a scenario from a clean copy of Halo PC a50 and I got the same error.

I know there is a way to fix this, I can't remember how I did it I think I either downloaded the tags from Halomaps then imported the recorded animations from the scenario from Halomaps into the exported one, or I extracted the scenario with a older version of HEK and did the same thing

I'm having the same issue.. I just started making maps, but what I like the most is modifying the campaign. I was looking for tutorials to make AI's follow you in the second level (a30) and I found a script for it, but the problem is when ever I compile the script the map corrupts. What I mean by that is that the cutscenes don't show, the mission objective on the menu won't show. It's really giving me a hard time because that's what I'm mostly stuck with.
