I compiled a single player .yelo map with OS tool and when I attempt to play the map the game crashes to desktop. Ive tried to compile different maps with OS tool and the same thing happens each time I try to play them. Does anyone know what causes it?

Open it in sapien, see if debug.txt lists any errors. Also, you mentioned its a SP map, did you use the map_name command to load it?

There isn't any errors listed in sapien and yeah I used map_name. I compiled the map in regular tool and It works. It only crashes when I compile it as a .yelo file.

not in sapien, but debug.txt
When using OS HEK, look in <user>\documents\my games\open sauce\reports\

debug.txt does not list any errors when I open the map. I can compile it into a .map file and play it. It only crashes to desktop when I compile it as a .yelo and then try to play it.

what options do you use when compiling it? (just post the command your inputting) just memory upgrades, or are you using mod-set stuff aswell?

os_tool build-cache-file-ex "" 0 0 1 levels\a10\a10

I've tried reinstalling Halo CE and open sauce and it still crashes. I think it has something to do with memory upgrades.
