don't you just click on file>save scenraio bsp or something
What am I watching again?...
Looks good waffles
Scripting Lesson Yay! I use "(sound_impulse_start [Sound Directory] [Unit Name/Biped] [Permutation])"
Example: (sound_impulse_start sound\dialog\a10\a10_010_cryotech marine2 1) Don't forget it.
I wouldn't mind doing this actually. But some else would have to retexture anyways which I don't do. Soooooooo. Yea.
1) how did you want the points to be displayed? 2)custom numbers palette? 3)I might be able to figure out, probably not though 4)did you want a recorded animation to play when you go through a trigger volume?
Not bad. Did you plan on using a custom texture?
I'll post the script tomorrow for you. I figured out a while ago to be able to have a biped move their mouth when using any dialog Edited by Zulu246 on Sep 15, 2011 at 07:58 PM
@Lone Warrior: looks very cool, the environment reminds me of high charity from halo 2 when the flood took over.
@Opsy: looks good also. Is the cruiser custom Edited by Zulu246 on Sep 15, 2011 at 07:24 PM
It actually looks good, I like it, but to me some parts look a tad robotic, unless it's separate pieces of the armor.
You can try compiling as an ogg .sound
Use this if you do though: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=1632
Or I can compile if you want, I'm good at compiling sounds.
Do you use the "set radius" command before adding your "go-to points" commands and if your wondering set the radius to 5, that's what I put anyways.
Seems like you are, but to me that doesn't look right on that battle rifle at all.
Ok. I shall explain. So when I compile a sound tag and get different permunitions like you are getting I delete any extra sound files located in my "data/" folder or I open up kornman or guerilla, whatever one you use and I open up the compiled sound tag. I scroll to the bottom where it should say "permunitions" or "permutations". And then let's say for example you only want the loop permutation, but you got the end and the start, which you did'nt want then delete those and click "File>Save As" then just simply rename as "loop" in the directory you want it in. Should help a bit more.
Quote: --- Original message by: Georgespartan01 I use vegas... But donpt worry I fixed, now i have this problem!
The song is divides in 3 parts (in, loop, out)
in: Its the intro of the song Loop: Its the medium part Out: Its the ending of the sound or music
After saving the "sound looping" tag and put it in the map with scripts... the game only plays the loop part, it doesnt play the "in" part and the "out" part Usually what I do when I get that error is that I delete the uneeded parts in the sound tag and "save as" in kornman or guerilla. hope it makes sense. The first one Lone Wolf explained is by using scripts which for a sound would be (sound_impulse_start sound-directory none 1) Edited by Zulu246 on Aug 4, 2011 at 12:00 PM
