by the way about AI: i was thinking about set of AI aviable atm, for example do you think i should go for bungie ones or cmt ones? or for another set of AI you know and you like?
i actually wanted to know this for weapons and vehicle too, since the best set of weapons are (imo) bungie, cmt and another one i don't remeber (something like ASCM?). but specific answer you guys gave me are pretty fine too =)
if there isn't another way i'll use scripts, i didn't want scripts cause i don't know how to use them xD

maybe i've found a way to solve this, at the bottom of the biped i found 'uphill velocity scale' and 'downhill velocity scale' + degrees of downhill and uphill, i'm not sure but i think that downhill velocity scale makes the units move faster (infact its > 1), i can try to make him belive that a plain is a downhill surface but i've to figure out how to set the degrees cause i did a fast test few mins ago and it didn' work =(

are you sure that it affects the movement speed? i've just tested 2 elites with different acc speed (on the same map), their speed is the same =(

i don't personally like big maps, but i think it's just fine if others love them =) what's the problem? i mean, lets says you are right, lets say big maps require no strategy and it's all about driving vehicles, and whoever aims first wins, (i don't agree with this but lets say its true) , even though: what's the problem if others like it that way?
btw as garagorn said large maps can be great fun if administrated properly, they can really be full of strategy cause each team needs to defend the base and attack at the same time (ctf is perfect for huge maps). i prefer small maps as alredy said, but sometimes i have a big fun with big maps (lol)
how can i make AI run faster? i need this for a sword-elite, wanna make it run at double speed =)

Hello everyone! I'm trying to choose what tagset i'm going to use in future, there is a lot of cool stuff out there but of course i can't use 6 msg, 4 sniper rifles, 6 pistols etc so i want to ask you guys, what're your favorites:
1) weapons ? 2) vehicles ? 3) AIs ? 4) anything else you want to add xD
in this way i'll choose the tags that you guys prefer, and it could be useful for other modders aswell.
of course if you don't want to waste time posting all your favorite weapons/vehicles etc, you can just go for your favorite one, that'll be appreciated aswell =)
ps: i'm looking also for a good rifle beam and carabine, hope you can help!
what about adding enforcers aswell? i don't remeber any map where they're in your team...
i'm a complete noob and i've the same issue sometimes, by the way, you could open the tag with guerrila, and try to understand what tags you' re missing, or what need to be fixed

it's called custom edition, -in this site select the page called "Halo CE Maps" -search "halo custom edition" in the seacrh box on the left -download halo custom edition -install halo custom edition by double clicking the downloaded file (exctract it if necessary) -you need a cd key from 'halo combat evolved' to install it -once you' re done you should see a icon called "Halo Custom Edition" on your desktop -double click on it -when the game loads you should see a menu, the first line should be "MULTIPLAYER" -click on the word "MULTIPLAYER" edit: i forgot this step (lol) -click on "Internet" under Join Game -click on refresh and select a server -play

huh? i don't see anything like "head", what does "resist pings" means btw?
yeah i thought about that but i was lokking for another solution, i would like to have no weak spot, even if i could balance that giving him a one shot melee kill, so hitting him from behind is gonna be risky =) not sure though
one more question, if i want to change a biped dimensions, like having a bigger hunter =), do i have to 'rip' it an modify it with 3ds max and then 'rebuilt' it? i don't even know the corrrect words xD lulz

if you are referring to the shaders folder (inside the hunter folder), well, i don't see any skin shader there, the 'main' shader is "hunter torso.shader_model", but i don't know how to edit it.

I would like to mod hunters and i don't know how to do these things:
1) change hunters colors
2) make their skin (the orange part) more resistent, almost as the blue armor
about 2), i know i could change the damage modifier of all the projectile in the map (guerrila>weapons>projectile>impact damage: damage modifiers), but i would like to have normal hunters and a stronger version (boss-like), changing the damage is gonna affect both of them (am i right?).

By the way i found out an interesting stuff by myself: if i don' t remove the trigger volumes i can change bsp in lan :3 (edit: i mean move from one to another one, like in single player) i understand that it's not safe for online games, but i want to keep going, maybe it's gonna be just a lan version, or just a solo map, but i would like to do it in this way.
the last problem is: if i die in a bsp different from the one where i spawn (if i'm not in the first canyon) the game doesn't load the first bsp and im stuck in that grey void again... fixing this is actually more important than change the first bsp (the first canyon is fine), i need just to fix this stuff... i'm pretty sure that if edit each bsp (and i give to each of them the area where the spawn point is) ill fix this problem, i need just to learn how edit BSPs... i'm sorry if i'm annoying, i need just this last thing, please :3

2 questions:
- can i use more than one bsp in multiplayer? (like, the whole map :3) or i have to choose only one?
- once ive decided which bsp i want to use, how do i 'select' it?
btw it works, i just need to know how to change bsp or use more than one cause atm im using the first part of the map.
